Nutrients or just not cured?

Im having a small problem with my finished product. I have experienced a tingle sensation on my lips after smoking some semi-fresh flowers. I would normally associate this with chemical nutes( yeah, that type of tingle )but I'm using canna A&B, cal-mag, boost and pk13/14, in coco in 2gallon smart pots. Flushed 3x pot size with water 8days before harvest. Dried by hanging then jars, let gasses escape etc.. Basically my question is this...
Can chlorophyll still in the flower cause this tingle sensation, does it just need to finish curing to get rid of this? Or, regardless of the flush, am I somehow leaving nutes in the plant. Thank you for any help.

I use Canna too, just dry them slower and give them a nice cure. Dry should take 7 to 14 days (longer is preferable). The plant is still alive after harvest and needs to consume those starches or your finished smoke won't taste good at all. Chlorophyll has a slightly minty taste, you're probably tasting unused sugars.

He makes a great point that I dont see too often. Plants dont die when you cut them. They slowly die as the are being dried. That is why they say to dry in a dark room so that the plants dont continue to produce chlorophyll. Great post Harrekin.
