Depends on your climate but something with good mold resistance always goes down well. Are you buying seeds or getting clones? Look for somewhere hidden but with good sun at the very least 6 hours direct sunlight minimum, the more the better! Think about water supply aswell.

It'll be first time outdoors for me this season. Indoor grow is no longer possible until work offers me more hours so i can get a new place (with full hydro setup :)). It's really crazy going from 3 years of constant highness to only 3-4 days a week or so on crappy auckland commercial weeds.

I'm gonna start a few seedlings this week and spend a while looking for a spot. Hopefully they'll be out by next month...

Probably like me and got too paranoid to post here. I have tossed most of the 8 strains i had because i got sick of them too fast, one that i regret tossing was the sage and sour. The only one that stood out in terms of its unique taste, high and smell was the kushberry i posted about last year.

I'll definately be planting a few of those seeds along with 6 other freebee seeds.

Yea most likely mate hah Sounds like a good plan cant wait to see some outdoor action. What freebies do you have?

Looking at purchasing some fem seeds from herbies. Any recommendations on strains that will do well outdoors on East coast south island? Want a bunch for a series of guerrilla plots and maybe something that I can keep small to go with my autos in a greenhouse. Have read through all your posts from last year, some beautiful looking trees guys. Hope to hear back from someone. I had 2 powerkush clones last year that did very well in greenhouse but did have a bit of mold/budrot from the humidity in late flower. Excited for this year's season but I think water crystals will be a must with our expected drought.

Mosca has some very quick c99. Be done in under 8 weeks from cut and has sativa leaning flowers so they won't be so prone to mould. Otherwise I'd go for quick indicas - although they tend to be dense so mold can be an issue. Just make sure your plots get early morning light so they aren't sitting damp all day.

I know letstrip will laugh cos ive said it a few times now lol...wonder woman from nirvana seeds at herbies (fem) was great for me last year and I seen a total of 3 outdoor plants of these last year (all from same batch of fem seeds) and I got bout 29 zips so almost 2lb,the second seed I gifted reaped 2.2 lb for that grower and the third got 21 oz of a plant that prob received 3 hrs less sunlight a day than the other 2.Its great for yield and will do between 9 and 11 weeks to flower depending on the pheno you get.
gd luck wat ever you decide on :)
