Ocean Grown seeds and CMH's

When I take my cuttings they go straight into a glass of water. Most of them will actually be big enough to get 3-4 cuttings from. Before I even do that I'll have the cloning trays ready and at temp. When I actually cut and dip the cuttings there's only a few seconds time between them coming out of the water and being dipped. Also, I prefer gel to powder because it helps deal the cut and doesn't dry it out like the powder.

All of that helps a lot with keeping up the turgor of the cutting (internal osmotic pressure) but sometimes they'll just wilt anyway. They should be back to normal in a few hours. As long as they are it really shouldn't be an issue.
So you're saying that you don't think they're dead and that they should perk back up? I'll look into some gel.
You said yours are enough to take 3 to 4 cuttings from, are you cloning whole main colas with secondary branching on them sprouting?

You can take even the bottom branches and make clones , even during flowering. A clone machine takes all the hassle out of cloning.

This morning one of them was actually stood back up, the rest were still laying down.

When you say clone machine do you just mean the dome, tray, and heat mat?

Today i took out one male and confirmed 3 females.
My biggest alien rift is a female and my second biggest malibu pie is a female. I believe ar#3 and mp#10.

I'm treating for mites right now with spinosad, forbid and neem oil. Have sprayed spinosad twice, three days spaced. Will most likely spray forbid once next and then follow it up with a few neem sprays.

I'm hoping to flip to 12/12 in 15 days. But that's dependant on if my females are filling the area enough yet.

They have improved big time just from transplanting about 5 days ago. I made the mistake of reusing old soil that in hindsight probably had salt buildup.

I just fed the bigger plant, bx#1 yesterday, liquid nutes just because its yellowing fast and topped the soil with the organic fertilizer that I'll be using this grow(organicare). She has used up everything the fox farm ocean forest had. She's also not looking to good, she's either infested with russet/broad mites or has tmv. Nice and branchy but the leaves don't look well.

Overall I'm pretty happy so far. They seem to be sensitive to heat, I don't know if that's a side effect of mites but I have to keep temps under 80 for nice growth. At 86 degrees(top of the plant) they look like they got beat by a baseball bat. Leaves all blistered and laying down and cupping up.

So that's the scoop :bigjoint:

The the second individual plant pic is the bigger alien rift female. MP#7 is a trooper, accidentally knocked my fan into her pot before she even broke soil, compacted it several inchs, wrecked it. A week later she popped up and now here she is looking healthy:grin:20171102_184527.jpg 20171102_184553.jpg 20171102_184625.jpg 20171102_184538.jpg 20171102_184640.jpg 20171102_185155.jpg

I would turn off all fans and bag the lights
Then put a bug bomb in the room
I use the cheapest ones at homedepot or lowes
They all work the same for me
12 hours later go in room and turn fans on
I do this for 3 days I'm a row if I get bugs 3rd can everything is dead

Azatrol or azamax
Same products I buy what ever one is cheaper
Use it at max strength allways works
When I had gnats I did full strength soil French didn't water for 3 days everything was dead
I always recommend buying from local hydro store or amazon

I don't really have any gnats. Don't over water and they usually aren't an issue. I have broad mites I believe

I'm wondering if all them gold specks are mites. My plants show symptoms of broad/russet mites

Well so far I'm sitting at 10 females and 6 males.

Also sprayed the plants down with forbid today, that makes 2 spinosad sprays and one forbid spray in the last 10 days. Going to spray some pesticide stuff I got from home depot that contains a bunch of different natural oils and citric acid mid week, looks to be all organic, and finish it off with nuke em next weekend. The plants are looking more and more happy by the day and aren't showing random heat stress and droopyness like before so I figure things are going well in that aspect.

My malibu pies seem to be getting bigger than the alien rifts but the alien rifts are completely stacked. Not one rift is stretchy.15099310661951738256769.jpg 1509931218914478217663.jpg

Now this is cool.. I'm lolypopping my last couple plants and I notice on my alien rift #9, one of the branches are growing 4 sets of leafs per node which is going to result im 4 secondary branches per node instead of 2.

It's not happening anywhere else on the plant. I also just took 3 cuttings off this pheno.

I'll be keeping an eye on that branch, if it continues to grow like that I'll be taking clones off only that branch and maybe I'll have come across some rare super yeilding abnormality

What are your guys opinions on that, ever seen anything like it???

Put the trellis up today. 5 inch squares.
Starting to feed with organicare dry mix nutes.
The plants are looking a bit rough with all the sprayings and mite damage but I believe I've got them beat. I have some preditor mites on the way to release all over the plants. Things should look up from here on out.
Also I threw in the 600 watt mh for the heck of it to see how they'd like it, its only been up for 1 day now.
I'm up to 17 females. 4 more plants left to be deciphered.
The clones I just took today, three were from the big yellow one(have been slowing uping nutes for it and it looks like it's starting to finally green up a bit. Just gave it another good dose tonight.) and the rest were from the last 4 alien rifts that I had to lolypop, growth that otherwise would've been thrown away. The clones I had a few weeks back were trashed since I had broad mites.
I plan on taking clones of each plant before flowering.
Hoping to flip to flower in probably one or two weeks, depending on how well these bounce back from the pests.
