yep, i have only one that looks like these, the rest look like total sativas....fuck! nice plants you have there by the way.
Ya i know what you're saying. I have another one thats more sativa dominant in the other tent.

She really did not like to get LST or scrogged so i just said the hell with it and let her grow straight up.

Here she is.

I just started a pack of 10 RP Headband/sour kush, and have noticed two distince phenos, one is dark and shorter, it has a stinky fuelly smell, and the other one looks lighter and taller, easy to distinguish the two, and the second one smells less fuelly and more like an old skool kush. the looks of any of these seeds is high quality, very clean looking plants. I suppose some pics are in order. Im on week 3 of flower. I have a few vids on the tube, moonshinedawg. peace.

I meant to say that the taller lighter Sour Kush, smells alot like the sour D, unfortunately, I lost the two in the flowering room, to being males, but they looked that good, where I thought they were females. But the good news is, I did keep the best looking, one of each pheno, as a mom, and I have some fresh clones of each to throw in the lower room, to see whats what. The taller mom, I kept is already showing herm tendencies, with one of the bracts showing a hair on one side, and a mini nut on the other. well see.........really bombola smells from both phenos, tho. But as good as they are they cant touch the headband clone I got. I think thats the 707 cut, so Im gonna try em all out and see what the deal is between the RP sourkush and the 707 headband.

Hi all. Just harvested 2 og 18s from rp. Set up is the best of everything done right, with a climate controller.definetly great smoke! All my expert friends loved it. Picky on nutes and close to impossible to clone. In my first run out of 20 clones only 2 rooted and recently took 25 samples of one plant with 0 succes. I usually get 99% success rate with most of the strains i come across. Also mine looked very similar to closed4fishing. Looks pretty stable from all the pics ive seen. I recommend it. Cheers

I don't know how you clone but the last time I took cuttings from my og #18 15/17 cuttings rooted though it did take almost 21 days.

i'm doing a run of RP's OG#18 at the moment and they sure look to be sativa dominant to me. i've got the strangest fucking thing going on with one that has a fan leaf growing a FLOWER right in the middle where the seven fan leaves meet at the petiole. WTF, anybody ever seen this happen before? i need to upload a picture ha ha, funny as hell.
do you have any pics of that? ive heard of it, i wish i would see something like that on one of my leaves, i would re-veg the plant nd try to make a clone from that leaf in a cloning machine

Growing some OG Kush #18 right now. I just use 3x85w CFL's for flower. 2x2700k and 1x6000k for spectrums. FF soil and Big Bloom. Flushing with molasses and tap water at 53 days right now. Tight buds, extreme lemony citrus smell when buds are squeezed. cannot wait to smoke this in a few weeks. probably another 2 weeks before I harvest. Can't wait to try again and eventually I want to breed this with my kashmir Resin factory. I bet it would be pretty close to a Hashberry.DSC00353.jpgDSC00354.jpgDSC00355.jpg

Hi gang!
It's time for another medical marijuana report from closed4fishing.

Strain: OG Kush #18 (2 feminized seed)
Breeder: Reserva Privada
Grower: closed4fishing
Grow Info:
Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, FF Nutes (Grow, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom). Vegged for 2 wks under 200W T5. Flowered for 65 days under 250W HPS & 250W CFL (red spectrum). Dried for 7 days in 50% humidity then into jars for cure. Only about 3.5 oz between the 2 girls. My veg time was minimal because of height concerns. She ended up about 33 inches. Easy to grow.
Cure at time of smoke test:
21 days

Bag Appeal: A+++
Even though this will never be in a bag because it's for personal medical use, this stuff is beautiful! It is extremely coated in trichs and very dark green with bright orange hairs.
Smell:
I think this stuff has a bit more of the Chemdog smell than the OG Kush smell. A bit fuely smelling but very pleasant and musky too. Very hashy smells when growing.
Taste:
This is one strain that is hard to describe on taste. It has a chemy fuely taste with a kush aftertaste. Every once in a while, I'll get a small skunk taste too. It is very nice to smoke and you can take huge rips, but then your lungs will explode.
:weed:

Effect:
Super super stoney. This stuff sets me back and makes me a zombie. If you keep smoking it, don't plan on doing much. In small quantities, it can be a perfect body/mind stone allowing you to function with a slight happy tilt.

Possible Medical Uses
Insomnia (in high doses)
back/neck pain (medium/high doses)
appetite (any dose)
Stress relief in small quantities, zombification in large quantities.

Final Thoughts:
Very nice strain to grow. Not my favorite in the world, but definitely a nice one to have around. Extremely potent, excellent flavor and nice yields. The guys over at RP made a gem with this one!

Questions? Just ask and I'll do my best to answer.

Hope you enjoyed my report. If you could spare a little +rep for a brotha, I'd certainly appreciate it.
I am going to be doing a run of these for the first time myself shortly , just wondering if you kept notes on nutrient strength , such as is it sensitive or a heavy eater , I know you did yours in soil and mine will be in ebb and grow buckets but nice to know if it is a plant that wants a heavy feed or not as I have known kush's that like nutes in the 1800ppm zone in the last couple weeks before flush and other that will burn over 1400ppms

I have had little success cloning OG Kush #18 as well. I have had great (85 to 90%) success with Bubba Kush, Northern Lights and Dinafem's White Widow. The only Method that I have found that shows promise with the OG #18 is to take my cuttings from a fairly firm 4 to 6 inch branch, cut it as I normally would and place it in water with rooting hormone in it and let the cuttings sit in water for about 2 weeks or until I start seeing root buds starting to form. Once I see the root buds starting to form I then dip the cuttings in clonex gel, place them in jiffy peat pellets and place them in soil and keep them under a humidity dome until they start to perk up and show some signs of life. So far all 6 cuttings that I have done this way are alive and viable after 3 weeks but they are lagging way behind in growth compared to other clones taken at the same time. Hope this helps.

Try using rapid rooters or something similar, I got waaay better results than when using jiffy pellets. The jiffy pellets work great for seed though, imho.

I've got an RP og18 and their reg OG that may get dropped later this year. Lately seems the 18 is getting good reports again. When it first hit the market its rep was stellar. Then people started getting bad seeds. Now Im hearing good things again.

Ive done multiple sets of clones from RPOG18 and have had a 95% success rate. Ive cloned probably 100 over the last year and had very good success. I use rapid rooters w/ a dome and Clonex.

As far as quality, we shall soon see. Should be chopping down this weekend. The smell is RIDICULOUS and they are super frosty. Looks to be VERY good.

Chopped this weekend. Yield? Not sure yet... Its all still drying. Im thinking 10 ounces, but we will see. Buds are very dense and a bit heavier than some strains so I might have more than I think.

Will pick up some Rapid Rooters when it's time to clone again and give them a try. So far the method I mentioned for cloning the OG Kush #18 has worked. It did take them about 3 weeks to perk up and start growing but they are nice and healthy now. I would have hated to lose that strain.
