'Whats Growing On' RIU.....
A little update with the Flower Room...I intended on waiting another week to update due to lack of change ,but I realize personally I enjoy watching when pics are updated in threads, regardless if its redundant hahao_O
But my bias lies in being in the room consistently so I do notice nice flowering commencing...
All is going accordingly,,
I.P.M. floiar was handled yesterday,
Foliar Fed this morning
Still light on PPM level of food-650-770ppm
CO2 Maintained at 1100-1400PPM
RH between 52%-64%
Temps consistent 74-81*F
No noticeable difference imo between 80 & 90 CRI

So without further chit chat,,
PS(..I put a QB Build together to start Veg in a different room, and WOW!!:shock:How can such low watts I set be so bright,,Its going down next cycle with those:hump::hump:

Okay guys/gals..
Been really busy lately but I will make sure I update this entire run to the very end ,with hopes it sheds some light on what these beautiful C.O.Bs can really do..although there is plenty of great grows online documented under them already...I don't want to neglect that fact at all..

Without further wait here are the latest pics of the grow..these were taken yesterday and today...We are at day 15 of flower and everything is going great...
I am really working on learning this video editing program to throw some material on YouTube and get a channel going, but it's a little more complicated then I anticipated lolo_O

The pics of small room are the girls under 3500CD bin no CO2

Sorry guys I didn't realize you have to click on each picture to see them,I will use previous method to post from now on

Interesting grow.

Aren't you afraid of light "contamination" between the two sides?
Not really..
I mean it's as scientific a comparison between the two CRIs' that I'm capable of producing/showing..
Should be more then efficient enough for a decent comparison analysis..
I've actually ran the entire room with each CRI by itself already so I kind of know what the final outcome will be..
Maybe that influenced me unconsciously, to not put a divider in the middle..o_O.
On another note tho,if we were talking HPS vs MH vs CMH, then I might definitely factor cross contamimation..
I will update pics tonight hopefully, pretty sure I will..everything coming along nicely:peace:
Appreciate the comment ,
Growers love always

Would you share this knowledge with us?

Well the thing is I didn't really document it (pictures) so I didn't want to just blurt out comments with no back-up..
But I my observations running the exact same clones (same as are in room now) that the 90Cri tended to show a tad bit more bulk...
I mean very limited ..
I did yield about 3 ounces more on the 90 CRI side but that is very minimum in comparison.
Also I noticed the fade/colors showed a tad more on the 90Cri side also..the flowers had more of a spark to it,a tad more colorful with the oranges/and purple hues in the leafs..
But to sum it up ,I noticed NO actual compelling evidence that 90 CRI is better nor less then it's counter 80 CRI ..
Previous Run Yield -80 CRI -97 ounces
Precious Run Yield-90 CRI- 101 ounces
Exact same clones/veg time/nutrients..

Hope this is worth something, and again, you will see in growth from uploads later that it's almost identical on both sides..
Thanks for chipping in and commenting

Hey dro-man i was showing these photos to autoflower.net and they are saying you have the lights on the left side higher than the left. In one of your photos thats exactly what it looks like. Is there a reason why they are higher?

Wondering if the height difference (of lights) is due to the lack of reflectors on the right side, so its closer to give as close to the same uniformity as possible. Got to be a reason though. Interested to hear. Love a good side by side

Yes you definitely got it...The lights on the right are about even now,(I will for sure post pics of the girls taken tonight.)
But the main reason for the lights on the left a little higher then the ones on the right are due to,
the 80CRI side are more of the old school builds...I replicated @Greengenes707 when he first put a tutorial on Youtube..
Since then @Growmau5 gave me the knowledge on with the "Pinned HSs'",So I changed my design...
With the balance almost perfect for me on the 90CRI Pinned HS side ,they will bleach the tops of the plants more easily then the right side 80CRI side,,especially during the first 21 day "initial stretching phase"
whats pretty interesting to me is now they are identical in height and most likely will be the rest of the run..IDK why after the 3rd week why both sides can be identical in height away from the canopy ,but they are, with no bleachingo_O..My initial thoughts were these amazing plants just "adapt" and that's why..:?:
But all in all they are even now :-P..
Thanks for chiming in guys,,this place can be really fun without all the drama/egos'
Growers Love and peace to all of you:peace::bigjoint:
