Welcome aboard Waxer and thanks a lot brother. I use the layer of perlite for watering purposes and helps keeps certain spear away from my medium. Since I use coco I've notice about 80% the time they have fungus gnats and a top layer gives them a hard time I've noticed and they die off quicker. I have not noticed them but it became a habit now.
Oh okay. Right on. I figured it might have something to do with that but wasn't sure. I've seen folks do it with diatomaceous earth as well. I'm assuming for the same reason.

I've done that and use that indoors but not when I have it outdoors it get everywhere and messy and since I keep my res near by I didn't like it to much. But yeah DE works better in managing pests than perlite for sure.

I'll be making a cage like box for each plant I will be using a trellis 5" on all sides and top, but I will be leaving some room underneath for when I have to water the ladies IMG_4389.JPG also I've got some tea brewing a fungal tea this time. I've placed ingredients for that tea earlier in in the journal page 1 or 2 I believe. Incase any one wants to know.IMG_4377.JPG

Looks clean but I'm no expert on concentrates so I could have no idea what I'm saying.:bigjoint:You given rosin pressing any thought or you just experimenting?
I've looked into it but it looks like best way is to get an actual press and that looks pricey. At some point in the future I probably will. And I will be doing a lot of experimenting with lots of stuff next in mind is trying to make hemp caps with hash collected

Lovely doggies you've got and he'll yeah gotta have some type of security and I've trained my girls to help put in the garden. My rottie usually helps me drag the heavy stufff for examply when I mix my soil and I need to drag it to another location she does the heavy lifting. She enjoys having something to do haha

Looks like Obi Wan Og has recovered from the transplant she has grown about a little over an inch the last 24 hours.

Squared Dance is still in recovery mode not much happened since transplant.

They do look happy some leaves got damaged due to heat and some I did my self posting pics soon.

My girls have changed shifts I've got my other girl watching today haha. Obi Wan is blowing up i growth while squared Dance is still recovering from transplant.

Didn't get a chance to cage them up today maybe tomorrow is another day. IMG_4430.JPGIMG_4431.JPGIMG_4433.JPGGot to make another batch of wax don't have a vacuum so I sat using a heat gun for about 30 minutes on low moving it in circular motion keeping it at 10 inches away, worked out fine.

Will probably make hash caps with what I've managed to collect from my previous harvest. IMG_4442.JPG

Few snaps of my babies.

They took their first veg tea well some got a slight bit burned you can see in the picture but nothing major. They've grown a good 3-4 inches since moved outdoors. :hump:

One plant was suffering from heat stress the rest are fine. Leaves were crisping up and had a few taco leaves. IMG_4443.JPGIMG_4444.JPGIMG_4445.JPGIMG_4447.JPGIMG_4448.JPG

Gave them just a plain watering today that I had bubbling for a few days with 3 cups of EWC ran out of root hormones sooo that's all I've got for now.

First 3 pics are Obi Wan OG and other last 3 are Squared Dance.

Found some Jap beetles did some neem spray just few minutes ago now that there's some shade. IMG_4463.JPGIMG_4468.JPGIMG_4469.JPGIMG_4465.JPGIMG_4471.JPGIMG_4470.JPG

The smaller ones today they've grown a little. Still no sign of sex on any. Except my clones both fems.
These babies are receiving just a plain watering today plus some great white.
Stopped by local hydro for some today.
That's why they're looking thirsty. IMG_4475.JPGIMG_4476.JPGIMG_4477.JPGIMG_4478.JPG IMG_4479.JPG
