Online seed security

I was just wondering how secure it is to order seed's online for someone living in the US. Is there a high chance of getting caught?!?!

Dont live in the US but from what the other members say its tricky, plus most of the seedbanks dont ship to the US......

anyone here live in the US and ordered seeds before?

i live in the us and i ordered some seeds a few yrs back...i would say maybe 3 yrs or so...i didnt have much trouble. after 3yrs i've finally had my first successful grow lol. but it was from those seeds. some nice dutch passion purple #1. i must say those r some good genetics...sorry can recall who i ordered from tho...just know it was in europe i believe...

I agree with AllMeatNoPotato. I have ordered through Nirvana 2 times no problem. Good seeds and secure. All 10 sprouted and are about to go into flowering. Order online and select to send them cash. I also live in the US and I feel safe with cash and only 10 seeds.

Yeah Im in US and order a few times just got some Blueberry and some sweet purple 3 days ago.I order through this site which was through paradise seeds.I bought the purple and they had a special 10 free blueberry with every order.I dont ship to my address though just to be on safe side never want new coming to old if you understand.What would most likely happen if they got stopped would they would be confiscated by customes and youd get a letter informing you of that and how they are not legal in this country even if sold legal overseas.Im 8 for 8 on arrivals though..

or just ask ur dealer for em..most ppl will give em to u if u tell them its for a project or if u pay thm for em..but everyway has its drawbacks

Cash = no paper trail. Always a good thing.
I would MUCH rather risk losing $20-$40 hell even $200 rather than risk my info on someone's server somewhere.
The easiest way is to send cash to a respected site (Like nirvana) and have them sent to a trusted address that you will not grow at.

I even like to use either 1) a fake name or 2) my name misspelled.
That way should anything happen, fake ignorance. Anyone can send cash and get something illegal sent to someone's house. No proof you actually did it. However, if you use credit card, paypal, etc. and something bad happens (i.e. you get caught) they KNOW it was you. A much easier prosecution if they chose to (I know, they probably wouldn't).
But why make it easy to prove it was you?

Is it not illegal for Nirvana and others to send these seeds though? I mean i got mine perfectly fine packed in a piece of cardboard but dont they assume risking some type of legal retaliation? Seems a risky way to operate an international seedbank...but they're my favorite lil Vigilantes

I did it not to long ago. I went with kindseeds.com and i got my shit and they have a 90% success rate guaranteed or they will send you more if you don't git that many to sprout.
