I actually started this journal on a diffferent thread but thought it would be easier if it was a stand alone subject.

Since this is my first attempt at autoflowers I'm going to go ahead and start an autoflower journal here. Hopefully we'll get a section dedicated to this..

Soil 1/3 Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, 1/3 Ace hardware brand potting soil, 1/3 Miracle Grow Organic potting soil.

(3) seeds Sweet Seed Big Devil
(3) seeds Short Stuff Onyx
(3) Buddha Seeds White Dwarf

Enviroment Indoors with a 55"X 55# Grow tent

Lights: (2) fan cooled 600w HPS

Big Devil (1)each in a 5 gal (US) pot
Onyx (2)each in 5 gal pots(1) in a 3 gal pot
White Dwarf (3)each in 3 gal pots.
All fems.

OK so I planted the seeds directly in soil this morning. I know most people germ their seeds first but I've had good success with photo period plants so this should work out the same. We shall see. Put all the pots in the grow tent with the door halfway zipped up. My next report will be when I see some girls poking out of the ground

good luck bro. you should grow some fat nugs with 2 - 600's in that space. you could actually get way more plants in that space. the white dwarf and big devil dont get huge and you can pack them close together since they dont branch much.

I currently have 3 white widow and 3 urban poison and (1) Northern Lights in 12/12 that will be ready for harvest next week. Plus with an indoor veggie garden under cfl's, I ran out of pots and it's an hour drive to town to get more.
Also, where I live I am allowed (8 mature plants(4 for me and 4 for wife) and I think 24 immature plants. .8)

When these autos are starting to bud, then I will start 6 more AF's and add them to the grow room

your gonna luv the big devils, I know i do :)
Thanks xgiovani03.
Could you tell me a little bit about it. I bought the seeds through Attitude but I have not talked to anybody who has actually grown or smoked it. (I sometimes buy books by their covers too)
Is there anything special they need? How is the yield?(all 3 are in their own 5 gal pots) How is the smoke, taste, and quality of the high? Any diffuculties with this strain?

This is how my grow room(s) are set up. The tent is my main mj growing area, with 2 600w hps and dual inline fans but I like fresh veggies in the winter too.

When things happen, they happen quickly!
As of 7:45, the third Big Devil has popped, as did 1 of the Onyx and 1 White Dwarf....It looks like we have a grow.

OK, I now have 8 out of nine of the girls have sprouted. One of the White Dwarf's is still hiding so I very gently moved the dirt away from where the seed was planted and could not find anything. I dug around(very very gently moving the dirt) and could not find the seed or a sprout. So the bottom line is I think I'm only going to get 2 out of 3 White Dwarfs.

Dang, the last White Dwarf is still M.I.A. Oh well, I'll give it some more time. Meanwhile, I have a Northern Light (photoperiod)I started that I was raising for a possible mother plant so she can go right in the tent with the auto's

I'll be anxiously waiting for a smoke report on the Onyx.

I started growing in soil. After a couple of successful and one failed grow,I bought a Turbogarden aeroponics system because it seemed more efficient. My fgirst grow actually came out ok but my second grow was a disaster and I killed 14 plants right at about halfway through flowering. Power outage allowed the roots to dry. Also, changing the water in a 25 gal resevoir was messy and has to be done outside.

I guess for me is I like the taste of organic better than hydro. And a power outage won't set me back 6 weeks. With soil, I usually have something within a week or two ready for harvest.

Here's the girls at 6 days above ground........the largest plant is a photo sensitive Northern Lights that is destined for motherhood. The two little freaks in the corner are the results of accidentally cloning some pruned branches during my last grow.I just tossed them into a glass of water and forgot about them. They sprouted roots and started to bud so I stuck them in a pot of dirt and they're are still growing 4 weeks later!
I don't have the heart to kill them cause they're so tough.

Here we are at day ten. Things are growing nicely without any problems. The Northern Lights is 35 days old, she's starting to show som preflowers and I'm expecting alternating nodes very soon.

The Three Stooges(my freaky little lollipo clones in the rh corner) are alive but not really showing any growth yet. I expect it is because they're trying to revert back to the vegatative state.
