ok, so i moved 7 SS plants outside and waterd them. i will xplant them when i get pots and soil. i moved my mothers and the perps into the veg room under the 400wattMH and i put the clones under the thousie. i stopped by the grow shop today and i will be picking up my new thousie a week from now. so then i will xplant into 2gallon and get some compact roots before i switch to 12/12 for 55days. im finding out that for a nice SOG you need really goo roots to start. the nitrozyme, or sea weed extract in par twith something like liquid karma (i got today) and you got a nice thing going. not really worried about veg growth at this point as much as i am with filling the keg cups then the 2 gallon pots. i got 3weeks of strewtch to deal with once i switch to 12/12. will post pics tomorrow. peace

already new growth on my clones i took 3 weeks ago. some have a couple inches and a few new nodes some have less but ALL are awesome. i was affraid that the thousie was going to jolt them but i guess the 400MH helped the transition to hid a little. i got some gleeo i will use for the first time this week. alo picked up some meta natural nitrogen. i wanted to use something other then grow big for a change. some times i need just nirtogen and the little P and K in grow big, mixed with say the bat guano i give them, will burn the SS. i will pick up my light on thursday and do 2 more days of veg under 2000 watts in 2 gallon pots. im hoping to have a mess of roots in these keg cups by then. i will continue with the folier feed of sea weed and liquid karma in conjuntion with open sesme then beastie blooms and cha ching. instead of using these together in the same feeding i will use one per feed. then switch. molasses every watering along with some food for the microbes. i really want 2lbs so i will do my best! so 1 OZ per plant ruffly. i should be able to do it. SS might even suprise me, we have a better understanding of eachother this time around

i put the perps (looking a little burnt) with my three mothers. they are doing great, still unconfirmed the sex of the last one. it looks to be male but from how long it is taking for me to know for sure leads mne to believe it is probably female just slower developing. will xplant soon prolly. just go into 3 gallons. i want to flower a clone from each to determine which i want to keep as a mother. one will go to my mom after she is cloned. then once i pick my mother the rest will be flowerd out side at the end of the summer.
the mr nice on the right and hassan on the left. you can tottaly see the afghan in the mr nice next to the hassan. but on some lower leaves you can see the indica ({g13) undeniable. i cant wait till thesebabies are clones and in flower.
my SS mother is ready for another grow around as well. she will be cloned bare at the top half then hacked in half to bring the canopy of my mother somewhat even. no bigger then 24inches. in 15 Gallon pots. its going to look funny.
my mothers finest seedling is doing well also. she is still a runt but hofully with the lack of watering and all the folier feeding with nitrozyme will help. also gave her some liquid karma yesterday. can wait the see the results. enjoy the pictures.

yes, very much so. the part that kills me is the compassion centers pay a maximum of $2500 a lb for outdoor. they pay up to $4000 a lb for indoor, of the same strain. i will admit indoor "looks" nicer. but i feel the high from outdoor is superior to indoor. it seems to be stronger and longer. outdoor tends to get more and thicker bud leaves. the crystals are bigger but not as numerous. i have everyone tell me that outdoor is stonier but they continue to favor the indoor when it comes down to spending money. maybe it has something to do with the fact that there is so much outdoor around my area. i don't really understand it.

The difference between bud grown indoor and outdoor is a subject that really fascinates me, as far as I'm concerned there's no comparison between bud grown outside and that grown inside although it is very strain dependant. The major difference of course is not just light intensity, but the general absence of the UVB exposure that plants get outside and don't get inside, unless you flower with MH.
It's the UVB exposure that fully 'realises' the THC trichome spheres and makes the high more intense and long lasting.

i am under the impression that UVB rays/ spectrums the sun offers that lights dont. i think that is the reason for the "realization" of the bud grown outside. im not sure why indoor is so much as FDD is talking about, i favor the smoke of outdoor, mendo outdoor is some of the best.ive noticed that outdoor the bud dried is a little darker in color then their indoor sisters. i will have both around the same time of the SS. i will have a full detaild comparison and smoke report. before and after cure. i use kerr quart canning jarscan i answer?

damn these clones are really taking off. tomorrow i will be watering. i got some gleeo... and well.

i want to colonize, set up shop. increase military personel and WHAM!! attack at dark. the metabolic rate of my soldiers will increase with every healthy dose of dave's special tea (bountea from the hydro shop @ 10usd/gal)

purple will be cloned. a couple i will take as many as possible andthen, after i finish my moms grow closet, she will flower them. i will keep two of each clones for a possible mother, one to flower and the other to keep if i like the pheno. my buddy in merced has 2-3 weeks left, supposed to be the same strain, ..... these plants are looking excellent. this will be his first sucessful harvest indoor if all goes well. 3rd attempt. by no means am i bragging (ok maybe a little) but i think me helping him is what put in that WOW factor. its pretty hard to impress him and he is def impressed. he is getting the itch. talking about cloning, and mothers, and revegging, different nutes and what they do. he wont shut up, reminds me of me!!! lol. he will be growing mr nice next time around. earlier in this journal i talked about what was supposed to originally happen, i.e a big ass plant in my moms garden needed to be taken away. saved if possible. my mom wanted me to flower the 5 plants for her cause she moved. well, i dont want to drive 2 hours with 5 fully vegged plants. so i set my friends room up and he is flowering them and my mom and him will split the yeilds. that freaky plant i pulled from the ground: went to osh and bought 2 bags top soil, 1 bag steer manure and 1 bag chicken manure, 1 bag perlite (there perlite sux) and superthrive. it was almost 100F in my moms back yard. i went back there with a shovel and, well..... i almost started to cry. sucked it up and went to work. went deep a foot in a half all around the base. lifted slightly on the shovel each time to loosen the dirt then moved on. i would lift up on the base of the plant to "feel" the tap root. as long as you dont damage the tap root, you should be fine. its like the spine of the plant. finally got it loose and in a contractor trash bag full of the above mix. waterd heavily with superthrive and water. she dropped as soon as her roots came up. i thought i had it down but when i went back the next week, she wasnt looking good at all. she stayed in my friends kitchen, his house would get up to 90ish during the day when he was at work. what would be clones or budsites i clipped. all droopy and cell structure was damaged. i was hoping by doing this as a last resort it would shock her again, but this time back into veggitive growth. it worked. saw her couple days ago and was like wow. she will going back in the ground for the rest of the year. she has been adopted by a good family and i am very happy to see her go to a good home then a good hump of compost.
i really dont want to give up these perp plants but, well. ummmm..... errrr. she is my mom. as long as the clones thrive i will be okay i suppose. because they will be traveling soon i will put them into 3 gallons, up from just 2. i will prolly do that tomorrow. my mr nice and hassan mothers will go into 15 gallon soon, when i get more money soon. and i will clone this weekend once the perps are out of shock. once the mr nice and hassan come out of shock from cloning them, i will xplant them. i dont like doing too much at once to them.
anyone grow afghans? my hassan seems to love nitrogen and yellows super quick. i know she needs a xplant but damn. also heat seems to affect her way before any other strain i have.

5 out of 5 females on the perps. i gave them a lil flush and put them outside with the 7 SS. which are all lokking awesome by the way... thos 12 will be going in 3 gallon from 2 tomorrow. not much of a difference but i dont want to go any bigger till i know which ones im keepimng and which will be given away.
i have know idea what i did but my thousie didnt click on last night. i called in sick to work last night (which i never do) cause i was having car troubles (sensor in the shifter, i hate automatics) and wouldnt start. i was drinking a beer talking with my roomate and the lights flickerd. then they did it again so i ran down stairs and sure enought the ballast was HOT! the bulb was warm and at first i thought it had burnt out (its on its fourth grow! im getting another before i flower) so i moved all my clones in the veg room and kicked the SS mother out. luckily i had room cause i put the perps outside to flush. today i put the 400watt in there and it wouldnt come on either ??? put the thousie in my 400watt's hood and IT WORKED! so i checked the wiring on my hood (less then a moth old) because, well i did it myself. im not an idiot but we all make mistakes. but i didnt. so i hooked everything back up and as im screwing in my thousie bulb i rememberd something. i cleaned the dust out of my hood earlier that day and took the buld out to do it. well this bulb in particular has a"lip" on the socket and needs to be forced the last "1/4" turn. dough! good thing i called in sicik!
i gave the clones GLEEO. if you dont know about it let me explain a little. i called my shop to find out how to use this stuff, they didnt answer. so i called the number on the bottle.... haha. they are really cool and helpful people out of santa rosa. i cant believe with all the growing hype out there, more people do know about this "science". our plants put out somewhere close to 1000 different types of sugars exumed into the soil. this is like a top sirloin steak to our friendly beneficial microbes. molasses has about 150 different types of sugars as well as "carbo loads" sold at your local hydro shop or online retailer. this is like offering your friendlys a happy meal. well non benefecial microbes, like pathogens for example, will love your molasses or carbop boost and ask for more, soon out numbering your friends and eventually causing disease or whatnot to you beautiful plant. people commonly mistake this for a nute def. nitrogen, magnesium, and iron came to mind as he was dicribing what the symptoms were. i tale tell sign is "rust" spots on the leaves or edges. oooohhhhhh now were getting somewhere. stupid molasses!!!!
luckily i found these guys! real life savers. litteraly i would have killed atleast one of my plants cause of this. now i know what my problem is and i can have a frim ground in finding solutions. i have pics of what the rust spots look like. i gave my mother some of this stuff too and will be going back for my outdoor cause thats were im having major issues with this. atleast on one of my plants for sure.
tomorrows aggenda was supposed to be buying another light but my current financial situation wont let me afford everthing i need at once. i have two list that im going to have to revise into one list for this week of things i really need like neverending pots and soil, and a new bulb.
so i will prolly start my flower cycle with only one light, then next week spread out the plants under the two lights and drop em low. i will throw in a few more clones of different strains to fill in the extra space for i won flower again inside till i build my new grow room. i will be able to flower out side untill it is finished. then i will be starting my perpetual cycle of havesting 1 strain every 4weeks or so. will post pics now.

sketch i dont mean to get on you,but if you call in sick man,you cant sit back and have a beer.but seeing as you said this not the rule but the exception,its all right.i learned about that quarter turn on the 1000 the hard way.but why did it make your lights flicker upstairs.

i know what you mean bro and would never have done it, i would just drink before work! j/k but there has been a lot of drama at mi trabajo and es no bueno no mas. im really starting to not like my job. i work all night and watch my kid all day. then i come back to work. the only release i get is spending time with my plants, the only thing that makes all this worth it is the smile on my daughters face. i work hard and feel under appreciated, boo hoo for me right? so i took a night off, i WAS really having car troubles (my starter is going out) and that is the honest reason i called in. i just didnt feel bad for once for not holding up to everyones expectations of MY LIFE> you know?
my house is old and the wiring is old, but what i really think it was the ghost that lives there.....
