Operation Seed!

Hi All. I think it would be a great idea to start planting seeds for all kindas of herbs & vegatables outside in public places everywhere & then educate our children on what they are & how useful they can be. We can also teach our youth to be more responsible to care for theirselves & not have to worry about some government providing overpriced supposedly fresh produce at a grocery store.

cool and random idea. I think cultivation and carpentry are the two most honest trades. you cant cheat a plant into growing, and you cant trick a building into being put. mucho respect for these people

Thanx...Our nations soil is becoming degraded & we must act soon or a simple head of lettuce at the store will start costing $5 - my mother already is paying $1.50 more than last year for one.

What up bongsmilie

I planted 20 or so green bean seeds and 10 squash seeds at my work, we have a small bed of dirt that just sits that weeds grow in so I ripped it out one day bored and planted them along with a flower that I found growing out from under and old tank stretching for the sun I pulled it out and re-planted it it looks happy in its new home. This morning 2 green beans sprouted out of the ground. :)

peace.

That's excellent. I created compost patches myself as well as randomly planted tomatoes, oregano, basil, spearmint, & have a friend doing sunflowers, green beans, & carrots.

I have a hybrid tomatoe sprout & some oregano sprouts. I will try to get some pictures soon. First time attempting all this, but lately I feel that this is the way to go & so far has been thoroughly interesting. First time growing Cannabis/Hemp as well. Trying to learn as much about plant life as possible these days.
