Bro i been growing for over 10 years, please don't, you are being disrespectful.

How long someone has been doing something does not mean they are knowledgeable or even good at it.

My first sales manager said something that always stick with me.

"Some people have 20 years of experience in their craft "

And some have 1 year of experience 20 times"

Not saying you have only 1 but I am making a point.

I'm not claiming anything. The Grow out in the mountains of Colorado pre dates this web site. It was going on before the internet.

You should learn to listen instead of preach.

Also no real old school grower with real old school genetics would share with this market. I have seen someone killed over a stolen clone once though. Sad moment. Greed in humans always seems to prevail.

That is why I seek out seeds with original classic genetics. Not re worked over bred newer versions. They are all nothing like good old weed.
The greed is why i stopped giving stuff out, i gave out hundreds of free GG4 clones , literally only 2 people even thanked me. Sad sad sad state this world is in.

I have difficulty with the bloom end but the grow is fantastic. even at 1/3 my maturing girls will lock up

Ima going to try my beloved Organicare, but the Grow instead of the Bloom. I only used the grow once in my veg room. it was great but I liked my fish powder so was bias. But if I can go with their Grow only damn.....and you are correct, there is nary a enough N in their bloom formula, I add fish powder...but in all fairness they also state the assumption I'm using their grow in the same bucket during veg...plenty in there then.
man ...you changing up my whole plan now...new lights, new look, greener flower, better veg...... my turn....go get some Raindance from greenpoint.

I have been thinking about this. If I mix in the dry ferts and I use the Grow formula how will I limit nitrogen if they are sensitive?

I was thinking it might be best to mix the organicare Grow and bloom in the medium for flower.

Greenpoint seeds?

yup. Gu's got fire there that many of us have dreamed of. His Chemdawg father is superior, big healthy sticky dank trees with little effort. really man, if you were a neighbor I'd give you cuts of every one. Take a look at what he's done with it. it really has been a game changer here. I've replaced 95% of my stock with that gear.

I will check it out. Thanks.

We are in the same part of the world aren't we?

I live in a place known as "the angriest state".

When I was in Colorado it was very friendly and happy feeling with most people I met. Not here.

I hope it isn't the legal weed ruining the vibe. I miss Colorado. But I could never afford property there.

A lot has changed around here, not many people from colorado here in colorado , mostly all out of staters that try to run you over when you are driving. When i first moved here it was a lot different than now, it's also very crowded now compared to then and price of land has gone up a ton, my house went up 10% in value last year alone.

Equity good!

I lived in Lakewood Denver for a couple years but moved to Leadville after and ended up in summit county. Never liked Denver much. Mountain towns are great.

I live way out on the country now. No traffic lights around here.

Lol.

I came from the Neighborhoods in south Jersey. Plenty of light pollution.

When I bought this house. And it has some neighbors in a lake subdivision. I was actually spooked outside at night it was so dark. Hell a bobcat seems to live in the woods next to my yard.

My neighborhood.

But what about my nitrogen concern with the slow release fertilizer?

sorry, missed the q earlier.

here's what I'll do in flower; I feed a couple oz of bloom bi weekly now. I add fish powder in the first two feedings
I'll skip the powder and use half/half bloom/grow organicare for the first feed in one bucket, till second feed in another, and so on.
I will not be adding grow in the last thirty days.

so youre using bloom liquid now and youre going to switch to dry grow/bloom right in your promix?

Ive only use Organicare(bloom) dry fertilizer in flower for some yrs , and fish powder in veg. I'm finding love for their grow liquid as my foliar feed of choice in veg. I havent watered with it though in flower or veg. ...

because when I bought my(five gallon) jug of their pure (bloom) and tried it in flower I failed. I used it in place of one feeding (of my dry ferts) and the plants locked up and finished poorly, ones that are starz otherwise for years with just the dry fert program.
I watered one with 50% less suggestion and one with 75% less suggested and both failed, one salvaged for extract other to my bunnies.

what I'm going for now is a one fert does all approach per @MichiganMedGrower grower , eliminate the fish powder and likely the foliar feeding with applications of only Organicare organic grow crumbles in both veg and flower(against my will, he's forcing me to do this)

ok,if im following,in the past youve fed biweekly with a couple oz of dry bloom? im assuming that gets watered in and is available immediately? now youre going to skip that and go straight veg/bloom powder right in your promix?sorry ,im preparing myself to move indoors and am looking for something simple.i build my own soil outdoors so im trying to break away from that on my first indoor.i dont want any additional problems(pests) so im leaning towards just the promix like you do but am worried about lack of nutes, deficiencies, then winding up with 20 bottles of unnecessary nutes on the shelf

the Organicare line-two products one for grow one for bloom are both a slow dissolve pellet, composted poop, calcium ,etc.

It is not immediately available with one watering. I see crumbles on the top soil occasionally 2 weeks after applications.

I only toss in the fert and rake it under when applying. I never used their "grow" crumbles in veg.

I'm not skipping any part of that. I'm just going to try to use their "grow " formula in flower instead of their bloom formula.
my crystal ball tells me I'm going to end up feeding them grow in veg and bloom in flower, so really @michganmedgrower
inspired me to check out their grow line once again, and use it in grow as directed, skipping the fish powder and foliar feeding.

follow directions on the bag, both grow and veg are fine. I grow in five gallon pails of only pro mix, no other additives in flower, and the instructions work out perfectly every time. Sometimes I water days later sometimes at application depending on need. They all get ferts on the same day on a schedule biweekly.

Now wait a minute! :-). No one forced anything. Lol

But now that you re-explained what happened I do think you may have had too many different forms of stuff becoming available as the plants start needing less and getting more sensitive?

I may try this dry fert mixing method soon. But I am still wanting to custom taper down my concentration as each different plant ripens. From seed I really don't know how they will react.

Ideas?
