Opinion on botanicare nutes?

That looks like nute burn with some light bleaching causing it. The leaves just below the tops don't seem to be affected so much.

:peace:
I'm under a t5 so I don't see how that could be light bleaching. Also all the stalks have turned purple. Another tell tail sigh of mag deficiency. I was only feeding them .09 ec before looking into what was going on. Nute Burn will turn the tips orange without any yellowing I have read. I really doubt it's nute burn as for the first week of having her she received no nutes at all just RO water and that when everything went down hill.

I talked to the rep for bontanicare today and he stated I could run 5-10ml per g for cal-mag. It seems most my nutrition problems are cal-mag deficiencies. I'm growing in Coco coir with Fox Farm ocean Forest at a 75-25 mix Coco coir to Fox Farm
...only need that much on heavy calmag feeders, or if you're in coco...
Looks to me like your plants are deficient across the board... because they got put in coco without nutes. Give your plants balanced, and frequent feedings. I wouldn't go anywhere near 10ml/gal of calmag+, for fear of N overdose.

Good luck with the recovery :peace:

EDIT: I read your medium ratio mix wrong... Run even less base nutes, but still 5ml/gal calmag to compensate for your RO & coco. Just don't overdo it on calmag and/or base and cause an N toxicity.

Yea that is what I have concluded as well. I really messed up with the first water with just a little bit of cal-mag. I plain on running 5ml of cal-mag Next water with PGP 10ml, LqK 5ml, 3ml Silica, 2ml hydro blast, and 2ml of rhyzo. Ec will be alot higher then what I have been giving her. She either burns up or gets healthy. Learned alot already with this plant.

You dont have Nute Burn thats a deficiency, you need to double and trip check your PH, pull off all the damages fan leaves so the plant can concentrate on new growth, and let give it balanced feedings and let it re leaf and, and if you and wait and see if the deficiency continues on the new growth if the new growth is healthy you8 should be ok

Got a bluelab ph pen a couple days ago to dial in the PH found out I was not using enough nutes bc I'm using RO water and was told from my friend at first I need to be at .9ec(I get that basically with just 5ml of cal-mag) . Going to bump her up to 1.4 then 1.9 these next couple feeding. She should pull threw. Thanks

Botanicare like General Hydro/Organics is owned by Scotts Miracle-Gro/Mon$anto and should be avoided like the plague those companies are!

MonSatan does not OWN Scott's/MG!!! They are partnering on lawn and yard ornamental nutrient research....

Scott's HAS bought Botanicare and a cpl years back GH......They are changing NOTHING in the way of formula's or chemical source's !

Word is they are diversifying to gain profit share in the anticipated legalization and the factory farms that will produce the MJ! (Botanicare)

Gen Hydro was acquired for them to break into the commercial hydroponic market.....In Tomato's and other table crops grown in hydro......GH is king and delivers in 450 gal steel cased plastic tanks!

They are one in the same company, they share secrets with each other and scott's has a deal with monsanto to sell their proprietary products such as round up. They been in business together since the 1990's , if you are funding one of them you are helping promote and fund the other.

Botanicare KIND has been seriously turning heads around here! I've seen insane results with it, from other growers in the area.

So much so that I am planing to play with it this summer. I want to see what I can do with it.
I guess if you don't mind supporting and promoting companies that have done their best to deny any involvement in cannabis culture since their inception and have shit on the whole cannabis community then it's obvious that you have no scruples. You'll likely be one of the first to grow any new GMO pot that comes down the pipe as you'll fall for their promises of better yields like millions of farmers who have also fallen prey to their lies.

With your edit regarding my soul mix I'm 25% FF ocean and 75% coco. That what I am afraid of I don't want to over do it on N.

Ok then I didn't read it wrong the first time... Just give them a balanced feeding as if they're pure coco... your soil isn't worth much at this point, and N is the first to deplete. Start mellow and work up if they ask for it... 5ml calmag, 5-7ml base, etc...

The PBP says to reduce by 20-40% then multiple supplements are being used. Recommend feeding in late veg is 20ml. I was going to drop that that by 50% and use 10ml, 5ml of Lq karma 5ml of cal-mag, 2.5ml of silica blast, 2ml hydro guard, and 2ml of rhizo blast. Then bump up the base nutes if needed. I only water her every 5 days or so as she is in a 5g smart pot.
