Like I said bite me u prick and go mind someone else's business. I'm an industrial mechanic not a hydro store owner asswipe. Stow it already mr know it all. I gave my opinion already, right after the smart ass who started this. So read before you pop your mouth off little child

Hoaglands Solution suggests that proper hydroponic ppm's for each nutrient should be around:

(Edit)
  • N 210 ppm
  • K 235 ppm
  • Ca 200 ppm
  • P 31 ppm
  • S 64 ppm
  • Mg 48 ppm
  • B 0.5 ppm
  • Fe 1 to 5 ppm
  • Mn 0.5 ppm
  • Zn 0.05 ppm
  • Cu 0.02 ppm
  • Mo 0.01 ppm
*Notice the lack of Silica (Si)

But it depends on how large your plants are and how frequently you want to do water changes.

Again, I would NOT recommend starving or fading nutrients, from your plants. The only thing you'll accomplish is slowing/stopping growth, and speeding up cure time.

Nitrates: 1-160ppms
Phosphate: 30-40ppms
Potassium: 235ppms (or 2/3 of nitrate, or 2× your phosphate)
Calcium: 100-200ppms
Magnesium: 48ppms
Iron (Fe): 2-3ppms
Boron: 0.5
Manganese: 0.5-1.0ppms
Zinc: 0.05ppms
Molybdenum: 0.02ppms
Copper: 0.02ppms

May I add more factors for feed strength.?

Temperature. Humidity. Light intensity. Plant stage as well as size (stated) and anything else that can stress us out.

Sorry. Cupcake kicking in....

That's about what I run, but a little less N an K but alot less Cal 100-110ppm . Coir drain to waste.

Different strains like different nute solutions. I'm almost done with an afgooey crop & those girlz have been *heavy* feeders!
The crop before was sativa dominant and didn't like a lot of food. PK spike in week 5 made it foxtail! No problem for afgooey. They loved it!

I thought I was giving too much nitrogen to cause foxtails (and a bit of re growth). When you saw that were they tapered off nitrogen?

I can say in a social gathering of growers who are face to face, I'd like to see you rant your opinions like you do behind a keyboard..you'd be shunned as well as your ideas. So go easy with using the word hate and all that that implies. California, Maine, Hawaii, Iowa, Texas, Maryland and Louisiana. Living on both coasts and a few states in between...that makes me a Texan? You expose your bigotry stating you "hate" everyone from a single state so wise up, open your ears and taste a little humble pie. Done here.

Blah blah blah.
You are still an idiot, you Texas dandy.
Face to face? Yeah, no.
I would wad you up and throw you away...

I run coco and just finished a comparison. I've found that as long as you have very low N at the end of bloom the flush doesn't do much. Without a flush the ash was black but had no Chem taste. With 3 day flush ash was better but not other noticeable benefit.

There is no need to flush.

If you flush early you can hurt yield.

What matters more is drying, never wet process buds.or speed dry.

slow longer better..

slow dry the entire plant (minus the roots) upside down.

dont smoke or sell the product before 21 days after harvest.

dont man handle the buds before 14 day of drying.

The difference in quality is unbelievable between wet processed and dry before processed.

Interesting.
I've got seven more plants to trim today. They have been in total darkness for 48 hrs to burn off any extra sugar.
Wet trimming is a sticky mess!
Exactly how is dry trimming superior to wet trimming? Trichomes aren't as gooey, but they also tend to break off when they are dry (kief).
Are you saying they just look better?

The harsh taste is more chlorophyll. Not chemicles. The flush is a tool to fade the plant so it smokes smoother faster. So if there is not too much nitrogen you are also closer to a cure. Black ash is from excess moisture which I believe also stems from to much nitrogen as the plant is sucking up more water and nutes than it needs.

Great advice. This is the key for connisours quality. But if you need to move meds sooner you can but you need to let the plant fade a little. Gives you a head start on the cure. I only do it water only for the last week. No flush. Just no more nutes.
