Orange eggs on stem

Hey everyone, lately I have found a couple of little orange eggs on the main stem of one of my plants. They are pretty big and can easily be seen naked eye. I have not seen any bugs or witnessed any bug damage, any idea what these are? I'll get some pictures if I find anymore.

Sounds like aphids to me, in a book I have it says ants farm them by sticking em to plant stems and letting em eat the plant so they can in tur eat them...
