Check this out, I read somewhere on the internet that if you feed your plant Orange Juice 24 hours before you harvest, the plant will have a citrus taste. Is this true? Has anyone heard of this? Can anyone verify this?

im not sure whever it will be true because plants gain the water through osmosis, which is the movement of water through a semi-permiable membraine..

This means tht water (H2O) will go from the soil/ or growing medium, to the roots. no other molecules can get through the membraine so i think the water will be taken from the ''orage and citrus tasting bits''

Thats my thoughts tho... i suppose it wouldnt hurt to try, cause after all ure gunna be harvesting in 24 hours :):):):) .. when you try it keep me posted plz lol

A way i do no how to get a citrus taste is to cure them completly and then add sum orage peel to the bag there in :):):) hope this helped m8

Below are the two processes in which plant roots select and deliver only
minerals
.
1. cell membrane of endodermis provides for selective absorption:
2. active transport proteins move minerals against concentration gradient
from water into cytoplasm

There are many people who strongly believe that they can change the flavour of
their buds and there are also companies who sell so called products, but every
Department of Biological Sciences, are satisfied that wanted flavourings are not
absorbed
through roots.

i've found all my home grown buds, from 4 different plants all smelled and tasted pretty much the same,i believe it is because i use concentrated lemon juice at every feed and watering to lower the ph of my water, had a citris smell and taste

citric acid is supposed to be good for plant metabolism, it is used in a lot of cabo-loading additives on the market... most of those work but ehh molasses is cheaper, mix the two and you might get some interesting results!

well like i said,i can't actually say for sure the lemon juice is changing the taste,i've never grown without the lemon juice as the water i use has a ph of 7.4,though everyone who's ever tried any has said it has a citris flavour to it,and my plants have never tasted anything like the weed i found the seeds in,which makes me think it must be the concentrated lemon juice that's 'flavouring' it

Nice! Nice! Good to hear positive things about it... I'm going to test it on one of my 4 plants to see what happens :)
