Been there, done that. I was using a thinner wire fence and figure out I could cut them and leave an inch and then bend the sharp end out of the way. Learned the hard way though.
As soon as I cull my males, I think I'm going to try this. Thanks for the info.

I had to take a load of crap to the county recycle yard, and they sent me out back to the huge piles to unload the truck. I picked up a couple of small rolls of the 6X6 wire while I was there. As well as a few half sheets of plywood. Leave a little, take a little, right?

My 2 outdoor plants are doing good...
Original Blueberry...tho just discovered white flies on it...will treat with Nor Cal "86"
The Black...no white flies...is showing some small calyces but so far no pistils.
3 of my indoor The Black are definite females...Original Blueberry plants are trailing behind. I wish they would hurry up and show...I am all set for my SCRoG...

My Willamette Valley Pineapple is taco'ing like crazy, but the others are all fine. After all that rain we had, I haven't had to water yet, might be a while before things dry out enough (my girls are in the ground).

It's been two weeks since last pictures. They've doubled in size, or very close to it. I can see evidence of thrips on a few of them. Need to stock up on a new pesticide this year. Last year's made them talon claw real bad. Looking at spinosad this year. Has anyone used it before? I've heard and read about most types of pesticides, but I'm unwilling to pull the trigger on most due to negative reviews, or not being safe to consume or get on skin. I'm weird about chemicals so I stay far away from stuff that could harm myself or anyone else.

I'm pretty sure I've read it's bad for bees. Maybe someone else knows for sure. It can be confusing because like most industries, they'll put out "data" indicating its safe, and sometimes its true and sometimes its BS.

Yeah I think I read that also. I don't want to harm anything other than the pests on my ladies. Think I'll keep looking. Or search out what ktmac posted above. I don't want to deal with bud worms again this year.

My indoor The Black and Original Blueberry
They're 7 weeks old this past Saturday. The 3 Black on the left are definite female....I have 2 more The Black that I suspect to be male. None of the 4 Blueberry are showing yet.
I am gonna start the SCRoG tomorrow with 2 of the definite female The Black and 2 of the Original Blueberry just speculating on which I believe to be female and cross my fingers. The rest will go outside with my 2 others until they sex out.

I've been playing with the ladies quite a bit the past couple days. Supercropped the Obama Kush yesterday evening. Today it bounced back with great results in my opinion. It was pretty dome like so I pulled everything out and away from the middle. Bent, twisted and snapped over most every branch towards the outside. Everything was sideways And laying over when i last looked last night. Today all the internal branches and tops turned upright nicely. Should have a great even canopy when it's all said and done. I used duct tape on a few bends that didn't get worked well enough and split. Pulled up and tied some smaller branches that needed coaxing into the main canopy.
This is my first attempt at manipulating, and super cropping a plant. I was worried that I May have made a bad decision yesterday, but was pleasantly surprised today.

I've never been big on super cropping or topping my outdoor girls. I do use LST on some strains.
Ps I took 16 clones off this plant it was even bushier
