I'm on my second grow, 1st was MG all the way, this one is Organic all the way. For my first grow, using the MG stuff worked out fairly well, but had some hiccups - smoked some decent canb from the grow.
Second grow is a result of researching alot here on the forum. Decided to go Organic. In the 7th week of flowering three different strains, and performed my first water cure from one of the plants and tested - not mature, but already potent.
Started out the grow with ocean forest and making teas after the first 30 days. I am completely astounded by the fact that when I make these teas and stir them before feeding they are completely opaque and have that rich brown color. Feed the babies and the runoff is this very clear slightly amber (like a reposado tequila) water. Everytime I see that it's like a visual reminder of all the nutrients that the plant absorbs. Incredible.
The other thing are all of these fert options. I started off with buying the bat guano and liq seeweed extract, etc. from my local organic grow shop. I've been a chemist, so I like reading all the stuff on the non-organic ferts, but it kind of kicking to see the organic stuff...much more interesting.
Then, as this grow and my research continues, I'm starting to really get into researching\using some alternatives to the stuff that I was originally using. I've started to pick up some Espoma and Dr. Earth stuff - figure that I can alternate the tea recipes and create some diversity in the process.....
