If this shit doesn’t make your blood boil I don’t know what will. If you ever thought the provincial or federal health sectors give 2 shits about you or your health you are clueless. They clearly care about big corporations that bring in revenue and fund their pension funds. Funny how you don’t hear a squeak about this on the news besides this one article when both organigram and the health department know where the bacteria came from but are covering it up on behalf of organisham. Disgusting fucks, hope these people that got sick sue the fuck out of them, the province and health Canada. What’s even more fucked is this only came to light because an employee of organigram leaked this email, otherwise wouldn’t have heard anything about it, just swept under the rug by government.

"Government is a large stockholder in this company.... According to a detailed 2017 holdings report from Vestcor, they have $3,791,270 of pension funds invested.... They've likely added to that amount since then. That's why the province didn't release the name of the company that made several workers sick with Legionnaires disease "

Isn't that illegal considering the public funds the government?
It has been done for a very long time and is one of the reasons the federal pension plan is in such rough shape. The Canadian government lost a fuck ton of that fund in 2008 when the markets crashed along with other pension funds that were invested badly at the time.
Pensions all across the country are invested . Public and private.
Am I missing something? Public funds are for private gains are they not? We public only take the losses.

Cheers :)
