Hello! this is my first post in the breeding section. I usually try to maintain a pretty low profile on sites until I have something to show.

The story behind this strain starts in a small village in Baja california outside of Guayaquil about 4 years ago. My friend invited me to his house there after his parents died and left it to him.

We were both growers at the time, and just starting to expand and really get into genetics. He was a biochem major and had access to a lot of equipment and we decided to start a strain. We visited local grows and picked out a few colombians that had a really intense orange flavor and this became the cornerstone of the strain.

Since then, it has been crossed with original haze and malawi to increase yield and potency. We use gas chromatography to measure potency and terpenes. Its about 6 months from being finalized (hopefully, you never know haha!)

About 70% sativa 30% indica. Smooth and citrus taste (though could be a little more fruity)

If anyones interested, let me know. More pics coming soon (once im back at the lab)

Can't wait to see pics. Can u grow it indoors? Does it taste and smell like orange?
Indoors as well as outdoors. Only grows about 25-50% in flowering stage, so it doesnt get too tall. Smells like an orange orchard, though has a little musk too it. Taste is sourish orangeish. Trying to get it a little more orange if possible, but i've noticed high terpene content is not only genetics based. For example, soil gives it more sour taste usually. Hydro, more sweet orange.

That sounds really interesting. Mad props for creating something original and not using the same tired genetics. What are you thinking of calling it. Is yield at least average? Though if the meds are fire then yield doesn't really matter. Being mostly sativa does it have a somewhat reasonable flowering time?
