Ortho EcoSense Insect Killer

Howdy All. Ive been pitched in heated combat with a Gnat Colony in my current grow (My Journal) and today, I believe I scored a crushing blow. I purchased Ortho EcoSense Indoor Insect Killer. Its main ingredient is Soybean Oil (Approx. 18 %) and it costs a little under $5 after tax at walmart. I hit a bunch with direct fire and sure enuff, they died on contact.

I sprayed the loose top soil and edges of the pots with a light layer. The smell is a little "ick", but i have not seen any gnats on the soil surface in a few hours. For added measure, I put a cup of stale beer in the room to catch any stragglers. I may be too late for this question but how safe do you think this stuff is.

I read somewhere that at a convention about the product, a representative for the company said that the stuff is actually safe enuff to drink.

I've used that stuff before. Works great! You can also try the EcoSense Insecticidal Soap bug killer for outdoors. It kept all of the pests away and off my ladies with just a few sprays every two weeks all season long.
