Outdoor grow

Ya I guess neem is banned in Canada, I'm in California. I haven't used neem in almost 2 plus weeks, and since we had a bit of rain that rinsed the plants off. I definately don't want to tint the taste so I'm just going natural for the remainder. I think I last used any spray on sept 12th and kinda was planning harvest would be oct 14 ish so that would give me a month to dissipate.

Hey all, so I'm harvesting 1 of my 5 plants Saturday. (Berry white)
Milky tric's on buds with amber on sugar leaves. Ran flawless finish through Sunday and water only for her now. So exciting but sad at the same time. I'm gonna be sad to see her gone. It's like sayin goodbye to an old friend! When I go back there and see the empty spot it's gonna be sad , lol!! Is that weird?? Lol

I know that feeling. Grower's Remorse is what I call it. Plant some Winter veggies, like peas, broccoli, even lettuce for a while, anyway. Have you had much harm done by caterpillars? I'm in Sonoma County, too. Like the grape growers, mildew/fungus is the dread. Spider mites are not my problem. After 25 years away, I went back to indoor growing as well, during Winter, 3 years ago. It's satisfying to grow my own veggies, as well as cannabis. It's also a great cold weather hobby. Even built my own lamps with help from the (original) guys in the Indoor LED section. Another great Winter hobby. I have a metal roof, maybe you helped install it!

Hey top cat, cool we are neighbors, lol. Some caterpillars but not as many as it could've been, I picked off about a dozen a few weeks ago and I haven't seen too many since. I've been able to keep the spider mites in check with the sns-217. About a month ago we had rain a couple times and I had a couple colas get bud rot. The buds were soo dense I don't think they were able to dry out but it wasn't too bad. All lessons learned for the future. I also am moving indoors after this outdoor harvest. I have a 10'x10' tent I'm gonna setup in my garage, 4 hps lights etc. that's my winter project lol.

Hope your safe bro. This fucking fire storm is nuts.
Not sure where you are in the city, just wonder if they got any of this shit contained. Stay safe.

Hi mongo, thanks man, I'm right downtown so I'm safe as of now. I heard the wind was coming so I put up extra stakes and the plants made it through unscaved. Really a sad situation. Hope you and ur fam is safe too Mongofrog

I haven't heard of any containment, do you know of the gun store, rinker arms on piner mongofrog? I guess it blew up and all the ammo was going off. A guy that works for me lives in the apartments behind there and he's fairly sure his appartment is burnt to the ground.

Ya it's crazy here right now, a big apartment complex down the street from my house is engulfed in flames right now. I'm sure I'll be up all night watering down the roof and watching for flying embers especially out back!

Thanks, yes we seem to be in the safe zone. This smoke is unreal. I'm not sure about fire containment. The news is reporting there are 5 fires in the area. We have power I guess there are 100,000 with out. Very sad and scary situation.

My lady went down to AAA right now because step daughter parked her car in coffee park cuz she was running out of gas and jumped into another vehicle to flee. Went back yesterday obviously car is gone.
We are trying to insure another car we have for her, but they won't let us because there saying the Nunn fire is about to jump the Bennet Valley hill which is our area. Shit is getting scarry out here. I'll stay posted.

Damn mongo that's not good, ya I'm accross 101 from you, off dutton. Well I hope you are ready to go if you gotta, u got any livestock? The fairgrounds are open to take any if needed, another red flag warning going back into affect tonight so I'm thinking there's gonna be more popout fires again. I am constantly outside looking for flying embers. Starting to get hard to be outside for too long. Take care bud

So regardless of wether neem spray is illegal where you are does it work ?
I used an organic neem spray last week on a couple of Jack clones and it got rid of them for the most part. Spider mites are very very difficult to totally get rid of if you are organic like I am. It’s part of a preventative approach.

Had mites before flowering, I made a soap spray that I sprayed 3 times a day every other day, and the wind will take care of the rest. Neem is illegal here so I used The safest option; and haven't had them back ; mine came from been plants, and I sprayed my beans and ganj lol
Hey Cannabis Queen, I purchased some organic neem oil in Canada this past summer. Wasn’t illegal where I got it.
