outdoor growing nine

Hey, I'm very new to the whole growing thing and I have a few questions. I have done quite a bit of research but there are still a few unanswered questions. I am going to grow outdoors and have chosen a few strains. I am going to try: purple white widow,Durban poison, early special, and maybe some afghan. I'm wondering exactly what kind of fertilizer I am supposed to use. Also I am planing on starting my plants indoor and transplanting them after 2 or 3 weeks. I'm not sure what month I should start them. Most of my concern is with what nutes I should use when and how much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well where do you live?
In Canada Ontario I start my plants indoors begining of April then harden them off the first week of May then plant em into 5 Gal buckets

start them inside around beginning of march. Then put them out sometime in April, only after the last hard frost.

You should just do it inside the whole time... you can control the enviroment...think about it... Gods fruit could be in your hand :)

although that would be nice i live in a place where that would be impossible. So my only other option is to grow outside. I've tried to pick out strains that would be very easy to grow outside and im hoping that they will turn out very nice. But since I haven't done this before i dont know what my odds of succeeding.

I wish indoor growers would stop coming to the outdoor forum telling us to grow inside. And I wish the CFL forum wasn't full of people telling CFL growers to get HPS lights.

Stop oppressing our choice of grow styles, please.:bigjoint:
