Outdoor Haze grow, colder climate?

Hey all outdoor pros, I'm wondering if it is plausible in northeastern U.S. to do an outdoor Haze(undecided on particular strain) grow. I've seen lots of people say that Haze flowers for a damn long time, and I don't know if it will finish before the frost kills it. For reference, I saw flowers around Aug 1 with an indica/sativa midgrade bag seed grow in my area. Is it just a matter of keeping the roots insulated, or is it just better to get a shorter flowering plant? Keep in mind that I LOVE haze, and am wiling to put up with a bit of impracticality if it's at all possible.

u could force flower her with a tarp or dark garbage bag, anything that will not let any light penetrate. 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. do it as early as possible without compromising to much yield, so it has enough time to finish flowering.

I hadn't thought of that. That's a decent Idea, but I need the plants to be generally not noticeable. It's a big yard, so green really isn't noticed, but a giant bag/tarp/can prob would.

yeah i hear that. if its in a pot you can move it to a less noticeable area when ur doing the 12 of dark, be a lot of lugging around. or you could use a green tarp, haha. just some ideas.
