Here are some pictures of a lucky lady (Sharksbreath – GWS x Jamaican Lambsbread) DNA Genetics that happened to make it through a horrible spring surviving heavy rains and two hail storms, here she is as of 8/30, planted on may 1st, did not start serious vegetative growth until about June 15th, she’s come a long way since then, just growing in regular urban soil near a parking lot (who knows what the values of the substrate are?!) But no signs of deficiencies and no bug problems here. She gets 6 hrs of light from 09:30 to 11:15 and from 12:30 to about 16:45, looks like I’ll be counting on the afternoon sunshine for budding as the morning sunlight is starting to angle off and dwindle… She showed her first pistol about three weeks ago and is now staggering off at the internodes and becoming more compact, I think about a week into flowering… Questions:
I am in Northern Italy, 45°49' North and have well into Nov before the first frost, this particular strain takes from 8-9 weeks to flower indoors, how much more time should it need even if the weather conditions aren’t the greatest?
What’s the deal with the molasses? I can’t find it here so I’ve been using Raw Coarse Cane Sugar and just dissolving it in the Aquarium Water that I use to water, it seems that raw cane has more nutrients than refined molasses anyway, I’ve read quite frequently that people heat up their water to dissolve the molasses? Why the heck would I heat the water? My aquarium H2O is already packed full of natural nutes so no need to alter its properties by heating it up… Comments….
I’m using 5-9-5 as flowering fertilizer right now, is this too weak? Can bolster it a bit if needed.
Rain is in the forecast for the next several days and I am worried about losing some of the nutes, should I just apply more often?
I’d rather it rain more in the initial phase of flowering rather than the later phases as I am concerned about bud-rot, let’s hope for an Indian summer!!! ;)..,
Any advice is well appreciated!!!

Well first off the plant is looking very nice. Keep up the nutes you are doing and I say add the Molasses or Can Sugar in your case towards the end of the flowering cycle like 2-3 weeks before harvest.

Keep an eye on her through the rain and hopefully doesn't get over watered. Just keep up the good work and she'll turn out just fine.
