"OVER" Flowering?

Ok Guys, I've got an interesting question that i have never personally learned about or even seen discussed on the Forums. I gave a few searches with a few different keywords, but no Cigar. Im really curious about it.

alright, so my question is about Flowering. Can a Cannabis plant actually be "Over"Flowered, or the budz be TOO mature? I was thinking that maybe after a certain point, maybe the budz could lose potency?

I have never actually seen any of my plants towards the end of the flowering period with all the budz 100% orange-haired. Most of the time many on the bottom still have many white hairs.

I appreciate any help. Look forward to learning more:eyesmoke:

Yes after a certain point the plants will start to die and lose potency. All strains are different so its hard to say when but I'm sure its not long after all the trichomes turn 100% amber.

Get a microscope and look at your trichomes like all experienced Cannabis farmers do. When they are 1/2 or more cloudy or coca cola coloured, its time to flush.

You need at least a 30x magnifying glass, a lot easier to get one of these: 12 bux at radio shack, 60-100x magnification
