Over Watering and PPM

Discussion in 'Hydroponics / Aeroponics' started by TooTall4basketball2018, Jan 7, 2018.

  1. So I am growing with the Aero Garden and I am worried about over Watering.
Because I bought the extra reservoir that automatically tops off the AeroGarden when water is low.
I don't see any signs of over watering in my plants Currently but I wonder if I should disconnect the extra reservoir?
Also out of curiosity, this morning I checked the PPM and it is around 420
not sure if this is good or not. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated

    AFAIK, you can't over-water in any hydro-grow.

Is your Aero Garden a dwc, or does it use sprayers?

As far as your TDS, more info's needed.

    Are you using tap water?
    What nutrients are you using?
    How do your plants look?

I know lol, but everyone's gotta to start somewhere. :)

I've heard of these before, but never bothered to see how they work. I thought they were for small plants. Didn't think they were used to grow weed.

If TooTall runs into the limitations of his setup, he would probably be better off building a bubbling bucket for $25.

Hey @TooTall4basketball2018, if you don't have much luck with your setup, check out the YouTube vids on "diy bubbling buckets" or "diy bucket dwc". I think you'll have better luck with one of those.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of light are you using?
