A friend of mine who is a patient got pulled over in michigan on the way to whiz khalifia concert, the car was filled with middle-aged blacks & latinos with lots of ganja so it was reaking, the patient was the only one with a card. The cop says "I smell marijuana in the car. Whos Marijuana is it and do they have a card?" - the patient then pulls out a large 6 paper joint from his front pocket and also his card. The cop says "next time keep it concealed better so that the smell doesn't bother others or attract attention" - end of story

it kind of got me thinking, if someone has a card in a vehicle that smells like marijuana is this no longer probable cause to search? specifically if an individual presents the cop with some marijuana and his card? its hard for me to believe the cop just cut these guys a break because like I said these cops were notorious for search and seizures and things of that nature in the past (well before the medical marijuana laws) just by saying that the car smelled of marijuana they would search many people, but this is the typical type of stories I hear now in my area. The prosecutor has gone on record saying he will not prosecute medical marijuana card holders and the police have said things like 'just dont drive under the influence.'

Wiz Khalifa is a pretty big pot head so it doesn't really surprise me he had weed in his car going to one of his concerts, lol.
