I sent cash to High Grade Seeds in Canada for some landrace seeds and they claimed they never got the money. I don't like sending cash and I wrapped it on aluminum foil. Still got screwed, but never again. The only Canadian seed company I'll deal with is Doctor Greenthumb.

Replied..... Said he would send me 3 since I kinda proved that I did ship that cash, but I believe he didnt get it also.... Dunno... I kinda feel bad for this, but I guess I would of also been upset if i didnt receive anything in return...lol...... If they're good seeds, I'll definitely buy from him again, but with better planning, and using money orders and shipping with tracking no matter how much it is.... Definitely will do a grow report in about 4-5 weeks if I do get these seeds....

I chose NorthernBerry, NorthernSkunk, and KushBerry........ Sucks cuz I really had a hard time picking SIX, so picking only 3 was disappointing...lol

Due to many recommendations on various sites, I recently decided to order from peakseedsbc.com , and had a very pleasant experience. Sent cash wrapped in three pieces of paper folded letter style, and received the seeds in 14 days (from US to Canada to US). I ordered skunkberry upon his recommendation, and and of the 5 seeds put into rockwool to germinate, 3 are up and out as of 4 days later, with one more about to come out it looks like (seed has cracked as of today), and the last one I am unsure at this time whether or not it will come up, but it may just be a couple days too early as of yet (and I may also have damaged it's chances by opening up the rockwool to take a peek. Very helpful and answered my emails within a day or two usually.

I just ordered seeds from MJ took me around 2 1/2 weeks to send and receive my beans. THey look good to me, I ordered on of his mixed packs for 40$ Im germin them right now we will see how it goes. I love his prices.

I haven't used PeakSeeds BC as many times as I should have. A few times I checked, the line has been fairly limited in choices and then one or two were sold out, so I would look elsewhere, and the next time I wouldn't bother checking there figuring there wouldn't be much to pick from. Then after a while I would check and the line would be larger and everything would be in stock. So I probably should have checked there more often because of the times I have used them I could not complain in any way about anything. Good genetics, good crosses, reputable business, genuine fair values to be had.

From Greenman's Seedbank review site:

Greetings growers this is for medical marijuana users and those who can use the information legally. Seedbank ratings are farther down and the links to growing information are near the end.

The seedbank update has now racked up over 13 continuous years of service to growers and seed buyers. Many people count on it to avoid the many many ripoffs who are out there. It would not be possible without you, the buyer who sends in your report.

I've been getting a lot of complaints about bcbuddepot. Most of the complaints were about non delivery or very slow delivery like several months. A few complaints were about quality of seeds. They will remain in the not recommended section. The high rated seedbanks have been in business for years and years and try to satisfy their customers. That's how they get their good ratings.

The post office in the USA often gets funny about delivering letters. People many times use a fake name to get orders sent to them. The trouble is that the letter carrier may not deliver it if they do not recognize the name. Before you send your order, send a letter to yourself using the name and see if it arrives. Then make your order. Ask the company first if they send to your country. If no reply, do not order.

If you have bought from a seedbank send in your report so that other people will know how good or bad it was. No seeds are sold from this site. This center is only for information. You may also send in a grow report on a variety you grew out.

This group I've heard good things about. Those with four stars or more are the most reliable. They will send to most countries. I've tried to list those that ship worldwide. Those with a relatively low rating may just be new to the ratings. It takes a while to earn a good rating. A 1/2 means they are half way to the next star.

I keep getting bad reports on bc bud depot. Non delivery or poor quality seeds if they do arrive.

Attitude 4 star 1/2 (F****1/2)
Bluenose 3 star (***) (2)

The limited area seedbanks and a list of bad ones to avoid will be found farther down

Check out the new and unrated seedbanks at the New page. These are seedbanks I've heard good things about but haven't had enough reports on to make a rating.

I don't have time to answer individual questions so I usually just tell people to do some reading. I have information on my site and links to other sites with even more info.

Would you like to see your grow report in the SU? Please include the name of the strain, where obtained, how it grew, potency and yield. Tell us the names of other strains you grew or smoked for comparison. Cultivation tips and news items are also welcome. You can get credit under any name you prefer or stay anonymous. If you like I will rewrite it for you.

This is a report on which seedbanks are reliable and give good service. I also list some bad ones to stay away from (crooks). Reports from people who have ordered from cannabis seedbanks are welcome. That's what this is based on, reports from people like you. You can send your report to me at [email protected] (remove ZZZ) If you send a report please state what bank you ordered from, how long it took and roughly how far away you are from them. I'd like to know if the packaging was stealty (well hidden) and what method used and if any seeds were crushed. Any other info you think is important will be appreciated. Reports on how the crop turned out are good too.

I don't rate companies on price, that's up to you to compare. The more stars, the more reliable. F = faster than average, no letter = average, S = slow.

I have a system of additional ratings. They are a one (1) for accepting payment by money order or certified check without charging extra for it. A two (2) will be given for free stealth shipping. A three (3) will be given for accepting credit cards. This leaves a paper trail but is quick and easy. (4) indicates that they use PGP code for privacy on request. A five (5) means Western Union is accepted. A six (6) indicates customer complaints about seed quality. An example of the new rating might be Ed's seeds (***) (1,2) which means three stars and he gives free shipping and takes money orders with no extra charge.

These seedbanks send to certain countries only.

Dr Chronic 3 star and 1/2 (F***1/2)
Pukka 2 star (**) (1)
Sensi Seed 4 star and 1/2 (****1/2)
Nirvana Shop3 star and 1/2 (***1/2)
Seeds of Passion2 star (**)

These are seed breeders and wholesalers primarily. While they have a good reputation, I don't have enough information about their mail order seed business to make a rating.

BCGA
Bros Grimm
Dutch Passion
Fantaseeds
Greenhouse
Homegrown Fantaseed
KC Brains
Serious
(and many others)

This is the rip-off section. The following seedbanks I've heard many bad things about. They are NOT recommended. aka means also known as. X means they seldom or never send the product. N means sending non viable seeds (non sprouting seeds) M indicates they send very inferior seeds or nothing at all

A-1 Seedbank (X,N)
BC Seeds (X,M)
Beeoo (X)
Fairlight (X,N)
Greenmanspage (X,M)
marijuanaseed.us (X) Software Services aka Cannabis4u aka Medical hemp aka [email protected] [L.Pafort] (X)
Richies Seedshack (X)
Stinkey's (X)
Weedseed (X)
Pot a Gold (X)

These seedbanks are not recommended due to excessive complaints. This is a judgement call and some customers have said they were satisfied. The nature of the complaints are as follows: 10 = non delivery, 11 = very poor customer service, 12 = inferior quality or misrepresented seeds, 13 = unethical conduct by seedbank owner.

BCbuddepot (11, 10)
Bullmall aka Bull-electrical.com (10, 11)
Cannabisseeds.com (10) Ganjaland (10)
Greater Harmony (10)
Kindseed (10)
Laughing Moon (10, 11)
Seedbank Co uk (11)
Seedbank.com (10)
Topseeds (10)

The best part about Peak is = he is not a pollen chucker, he is a real breeder and he has been working at his main strains for many years, (like Eskobar) not a year or two or 8 weeks as is the case with most strains today. More hype then actual pudding.

Plus fine farmers agree that his herb is dank. I was gonna try sweetskunk but changed my mind at the last minute on advice from a FF

i popped 1 seed a few years back and it was a female. it was decent smoke. i cant say it was anything special, or i would have done more sooner. last year i popped 2 and both were male. i only had room for 1 and it was hard picking which 1 because they were both so similar.

i do alot of fem seeds due to space and time, but i like to pop a few reg. seeds which are like extras in case they are all males.

I popped 3,3,4 (NB,KB,and NS)....I got 2,1,3 females from each....they are all getting harvested on sat besides 1 NS, that is more on the Sativa side pheno......the rest are pure dank, ripe, and ready to be chopped...... My favorite grower would have to be one of the NB....Its a small 4 cola plant, but they are FAT and dank as can be.....beautiful light green color.....the sativa pheno of NS is purpling out.....The kushberry is my second favorite, but im pissed that i didnt clone that one.....i did, but it didnt make it, as the dome wasnt securely places, and the rockwool dried out.....all the others had rooted successfully besides her....maybe it would have rooted, or maybe not.....typical harder to clone plants in the kush....should of taken more cuts, but i just didnt because i had extra seeds (had.... :(...long story)... Anyways..... After a rough start, mission success, and will definitely give peakseedsbc.com an other try...... Next on my hitlist is Blueberry, Skunkberry, and sweet skunk or the first 2 and a mix pack of 20.... These seeds are grade A+....Nice big fat healthy seeds.... Strong veggers..... Must try! The best phenos of these genetics could easily compete with the best of the best clone only strains going around right now....... Dont be fooled because they dont have these "cool" names like "white fire" or whatever the fuck..... This guy could easily compete with subcool or sannies ir he sold out and renamed his herb and company, but he doesnt.....thats awesome for us as it just keeps the prices lower and will keep him level headed and humble, unlike sub who is all about promoting b+ genetics with the same father strains.....he's no breeder.......he's a photographer with good photoshop skills.......none of his pics seem natural to me.....can easily tell when the contrast and sharpness of a photo has been played with...imo that and the name is what sells.....

Anyways.......will make a journal, or just post some pics here later....peace!

I have found the Kush crosses to be the easiest to clone.

I'm a long-time customer and big fan of PeakSeedsBC. I communicate with the guy regularly. You pretty much nailed it, humble is putting it mildly. I finally got him to admit that "maybe" his strains are among the best. If he actually did any promoting, he'd blow up. I don't think he wants to. Seems most interested in putting together a breeding stable that is rock-solid.

Ordered form GT and all I can say is check out www.bestseedbank.com before you do...the banks are listed by reputation and GT is at the bottom where he belongs. Yea I know this thread is old but it pops up often under google searches.

Put an order in to MikeJ at Peakseedsbc and was the best experience to date buying seeds, don't hesitate, this fella is the real deal, and customer serivice is incredible! My new genetics supplier will be Peakseedsbc. Told Mike I am a Canadian MMPR patient(with proof) and he sent me 12 mixed bean for free, on top of the 12 Northernberry I ordrred(well 10 but he always adds extras)! 20/24(tried to hurry a few, and may have not left in paper towel long enough?) germed, and we are off! This fella Mike makes me feel safe when buying beans...also the email money transfer for Canadians made things so easy! Any talk you hear of peakseedsbc being shady, is crap....remember fellas there are people out there trying to rip off seedbanks daily....... sayin they sent money and didn't, etc.....this guy makes any buying experience from him... a pleasure Cheers!
