Is that the cunt who pulled the hijab stunt?

Pedos and broke busters founded Australia. I see you are proud of your heritage and want your own MAGA hat.
It sure is man.. And man no need to slag my country. It was founded by aboriginals from Africa thousands of years ago and yes it was later settled by convicts from Britain.. The lower level convicts like bread thieves not rapists and murderers...edit. dude you should be grateful of Australians we lost thousands of ozzy soldiers helping America in both wars.

Good old FDR, great example of how progressives/liberals/center left has to clean up conservative messes.

A democratic socialist the country loved so damn much that they elected him 4 times! Perfect man, nope and none are but he saved our economy and help keep nazi Germany from becoming the modern day Roman Empire.

Good political test wud b which candidate is the most like him and vote that way...
We cannot count on another FDR to show up and save us every time we get ourselves into this mess.

We as a nation have to figure out how to never let it get this bad in the first place.

ok that's a common opinion of FDR I hear a lot but ok.

glad we agree the black vote switched to Democrat in 1932 and not 1964.

ironic because printing money is how it got this bad in the first place and fdr was great at it in all its forms.

I would contend had conservative economics not put us in the ditch he wouldn't have had to "print money"

Ttystikk is right we can't let shit go so bad that we need such drastic measures to fix things. That means keeping economy engineered well for all not just a silver platter for the 1% and hope they benevolently give back the horded cash they pull out of our economy.

the right and left are equally guilty of printing, so I agree.

I would say FDR was dealing with a correction to printing, which was the depression. we can blame that correction on the right if you wish, that's fine.

so if we all agree printing is the problem, what would you do to correct the situation in addition to giving currency non reserve competition?

Historian? No, jackass yes. Get the fuck out of here. The black vote didnt "switch" one year, simple fucking dolt.
the trend of switching began with fdr....
Black_Vote_Pres.jpg

black people weren't even allowed to attend Democrat conventions until 1924......

FDR marked a majority vote change Truman marked a turn in majority identification....

Black_Party_ID(7).jpg

before FDR of course black people identified with the party that spearheaded women and minories into the voting fray with landmark legislation. of course black people identified with the Republican party of Lincoln through reconstruction all the way up to FDR.

it's just facts dude lighten up. I know that's a war sock but it's been reasonable from time to time, now would be great.

POLITICS
WHO'S WINNING, WHO'S LOSING, AND WHY.

Trump has never been less popular—and never more clearly the head of a party of racial resentment.
By Jamelle Bouie

President Donald Trump walks to the White House on Wednesday.

Seven months into his presidency, Donald Trump is deeply unpopular. In Gallup’s latest poll of presidential job approval, he’s down to 34 percent, a level unseen by most presidents outside of an economic disaster or foreign policy blunder. In FiveThirtyEight’s adjusted average of all approval polling, he stands at 37 percent. And yet, few Republican lawmakers of consequence are willing to buck him or his agenda, in large part because their voters still support the president by huge margins. What we have clearer evidence of now is why. From polling and the behavior of individual politicians, it’s become harder to deny that people support the president not just for being president, but for his core message of white resentment and grievance—the only area where he has been consistent and unyielding

Man, you really struggle with what's important. It comes from accepting a fake religion.

Yes, a hundred years ago, the Democratic party was different than today. No wonder right wingers like you want to talk about the Democratic party of a hundred years ago. I'd be ashamed to support a party and ideology that acts the way today's Republicans do to African Americans too.

Segregationist Democratic southern white men switched affiliation to Republican beginning 1968. Today the Southern white man is still suppressing the votes of African Americans in the interest of maintaining power. And Republicans are the overt racists that were once the murderous Jim Crow KKK a hundred years ago.

Seems to me that flaming pie was using this bit of historical trivia not too long ago. Birds of a feather, so they say.

Hayek didnt predict the great depression?
riiiiiight.
When I put on my personal protection equipment and ventured into the Mises Institute web site, the homeland of right wing libertarian ideology, I found at the center of it all was the proud statement that it was entirely based upon unproven axioms. Also that they eschewed science and mathematics. This is all I need to know about right wing Libertarian philosophy. It's just a religion. A fake one at that. Your form of libertarian ideology is a tool of the right wing rich man. I don't listen to liars. Liars lie to manipulate. You are a tool.

whatever, F.A. Hayek was about the only one warning about the great depression. he was a marxist convert as well.

keep your one sided marxist perspective though, sure has saved a lot of lives over the years eh?

oh wait you think earf two crowdud so maybe thats your end game.

do you get paid only if I quote you or?

1924, black people were not allowed at Democrat conventions. it's 2017.

you can't math, so now youre going to histronics?

you say the white vote switched in 68 because racism.....so one would expect the black vote to switch after that, but it didnt; that clearly happened with fdr back inn the 30s.

south went Republican with the rest of the country in a landslide, including California.

all those racist democrat legislators from 64 stayed democrats till they died or retired except for one.

you are drawing racial lines that aren't there for absolutely no other reason than division. and Marxism of course lol
