ok so this is my first grow, im using cfls right now but they're such a hassle. I want more for the money ya know ? So im planning on upgrading to a 400 or maybe 600 w hps and t5s for veg room.
I have a walk in closet, aproxx. 4 x 10, and i was wanting to seperate that into two rooms at 4 x 3.5 each. I need walking room in between as i will still be using it as a closet of what little space is left.
Anyways my room is sealed tight, and i have a small setup in there now, with the cfls. I have a portable ac in the room now, and exhaust at 100 cfms. Im thinking that i can use the portable ac for the veg because the t5s are not gonna be near as hot as the hps.
My question here is , how can i keep the hps cool. In the summer, the air does not run 24/7, only when the house goes above the set temp of the thermostat.
In the winter, I can't run my house ac unit at all because i will have the heat on. Another portable a/c unit will kill the space in my flowering room, so please can anyone help me. Much thanks appreciated.
