Perma Clone Neoprene Collars

Has anyone used these collars before? Seems pretty bad ass you can microwave them for sterilization. They're a little expensive but to be able to pop them in a microwave, and know they are sterile, that's a huge plus.

Also, what's everyone's opinion on the soft vs firm collars? Positives and draw backs? I've never used the soft ones I don't think unless it was many years ago, but I just got a pack of the ez cloner soft collars to use on my next clone cycle.

These things are awesome from what ive heard. Ive been talking to the manufacturer and i can get you or anyone a deal on them if your interested. High times had them as one of their top new products and they are really catching on. One of the top selling world breeders has recently started using them (not mentioning names), and the guy who makes them is a long term member of the site. He doesnt like to toot his own horn so he doesnt throw product placement or his advertising around the site. If i were you id grab some up. Solid company that gets my two thumbs up.

That's awesome! I'm totally interested! I only need like 25 right now but if I can get a discount on that amount I'd be super stoked! I've been using Aero cloners, home made, for a decade, and always trying to tweak my cloners. I'm about to build a 25 site cloner and would order right now if possible :)

I'm missing something here..why can't regular neo collars be microwaved? And i do a 10% bleach soak on them with no issues.

holy crap they're expensive...

I've cleaned them that way and it worked great! Except I didn't use a laundry bag, that's a great tip, thanks! Do you use the soft or firm collars?
Umm whatever. I guess the ezcloner ones are soft. I've bought different ones over the years and el cheapo colored ebay ones.

I guess the firmer ones don't stretch out as much, but thats only when your growing larger plants than your average clone.

Awesome, I used the cheap multi colored ones but they didn't fit right in my 2" net pots. Good tip about the stretching. Seems the soft ones would be better for the stem i dunno.

Something else I was worried about, I guess the main reason I started the thread and then got stoned and didn't even ask the question haha. Do the soft ones absorb water? That's what I was worried about, stem rot with the soft collars

I've been using these for years. If they ever break down they will ship you replacements for free.

The guy who owns the company is somewhat of a dick. When I ordered them I was shorted a couple so I emailed him. He called me a liar and said I was bullshitting but ended up apologizing and sending me replacements.

I'd still use them even after that interaction with him.
