I recently purchased a milwaukee ph600 meter, but i can't get the damn thing to work.

What am i doing wrong? :wall:

I calibrate it to 7, and thats where it stays no matter what solution i place it in.

Does anyone have this meter?, and if so how the heck do ya use it.

I know its cheap @ $25.00 but damn, it should at leat give me a diff reading.

** What ph meter to you guys use & how much did it run you?? **

hmmm, seems like a lemon to me. Play around with different settings try to get a reaction out of it. If its still just dead, then its a DOA, return it.

Try using vinegar on it, then put it in some baking soda water, if your not even getting a little reaction on it then well rest asssured that thing is fuckin broken.

did it have a PH4 and 7 calibration dials? most PH meters have 2 dials they should both be calibrated

I got a cheapy $20 one off ebay works great bro already came calibrated. However with the cheap ones I do a double check with a dropper/tube ph tester every 2-3 weeks. Been on the dot every time. not a bad deal

I got the new hannah tester off ebay for less than 30 bucks.

Are you rinsing it off after using the solution? Have you tried a new battery?

Did you ever find a fix for this product. I just got it and I may as well be just guessing the ph of solutions for f's sake! Numbers move all over, never stabilize, can't even come close to it calibrating. It sucks!
