Just wanted to show how wide and stubby the leaves are on this OG. Looking good so far. I think this stuff is gonna be killer. Dinafem brand btw. One review I read said it was the highest yielding and best tasting strain he grows. It was a big grower too. I think it was in the review section for the strain on the Dinafem site. Some reviews I read elsewhere said it doesn't really taste like OG but none said it was weak or in any way not a great strain. Many said it's super-potent. Personally, I don't care if it tastes the same as some other OGs, as long as it tastes good, is super-potent and high yielding. Could call it something else, wouldn't matter to me.

I grew a real nice Dinachem. It came out exactly as they describe. It was good yielding. Stable. And tasted heavily of the guava chem pheno they back crossed it with.

Really potent. But honestly (and they make no claim to it) it is a bit of a flat high for me. I like a sativa leaning but still full feeling hybrid. And the chemical side was not there much.

The Deadhead OG I grew was more to my tastes. And seemed to be a true sativa leaning OG.

I am really interested in your results. Please tag me in if you do a Grow thread or whatever. :-)

I'll try to remember you, I don't know about the tag thing, maybe I'll look in the help section. Dinafem do seem to be one of the better quality breeders out there. One guy said it was the only company where the freebies were actually killer. I'm sure they have other good strains, I just wanted something I could be fairly certain will put out competition beating product, and the OG looked like it. These days, you can't get caught lacking. Your product has to be on point now with all the legalization shit and general overproduction. I don't think many people would gripe about Dinafem's OG. The thing is white with crystals and huge blown out calyxes, as seen in their YT OG seed production room video. It looks like GG on steroids. Might be from being seeded, I don't know.

Everyone asked for more Dinachem.

Gorilla glue is just another diesel/chem/Skunk hybrid like the rest.

And to tag. You just use an @ symbol and the users name and it shows in alerts.

Okay, I got it on the tag thing. I'm sure I'll post some bud pics when the time comes. I figured GG must be similar lineage to OG because it does look very similar. But GG produces tiny buds and low yields, so not really suited to full production. It does get the publicity though.

LOL! GG4 produces big yields of large heavy dense buds! Potent and a nutrient hog that likes to run long. I have NEVER seen Glue do "tiny buds and low yields"!

If you bought glue from seed - You didn't get the real thing bob.

FULLY SUITED for production!

From Feb. cycle 1 plant - 6' yield was 517g.
20170218_182137.jpg

From the April cycle 1 plant - 5" 9" yield was 508g.
20170307_115912.jpg

I took no pics of the June cycle but, she was 7'. I topped it for 3 mains and supported the hell out of the side branching.

Massive plant of shorter size for the yield. That was 736 g. for a 7 foot tall plant! Damn near 2 lbs for a single plant...

Here is 2 plants - super cropped as they went a bit long in veg. Just into the bloom room. Interior was lolly popped later.
These 2 will approach 2 lbs or better. No larf......

I received a few of dinafem white cheese autos as freebies. They say 40-130 gm/m3. Out of 4 grown DWC, one after the other, the least I yielded was 3ozs on the first, mainly due to learning the nutrient needs, then 5,5 and almost 7ozs on the last one. I gave away a few free white widow seeds I had received with orders, the ones I saw grown were beasts. Starting Strawberry Amnesia right now, not a freebie though, hopefully it follows suit.

Grew that Straw Amnesia last yr outside and it was very nice but would've done better inside. I didn't keep it but plenty of folks really liked it and preferred it over the original amnesia I had (let that one go too)
I've found the Dinafems freebies to be hit or miss....but when you do hit, they're worth every second in the grow.

I quite like Dinafem's OG Kush and have had good feedback so it has remained part of the stable for now. It has a good stretch on it and medium yield of solid nugs.

Have grown it in a SoG and the main stem produces a beauty of a cola but am currently growing 6 of them in a 3x3 tray which were topped twice. Next time I will either put 9 in there or give them an extra topping each.

Ready in 8-9 weeks but I let it go 9. Nice strain. Just snapped off a pic of lower bud at about 4.5 weeks.

What's it crossed with?
Lorans Long Bottom Leaf (SFV OG x Jacks Cleaner2)
DragBoatJeff (Bad Dawg Genetics) at GLG has done a few crosses with it and so far the results have been impressive.
The fact that he makes these just to give out with orders is the icing.

There was a thread started not too long ago for the Bad Dawg stuff.

Gu~@Greenpoint seeds has another, Raindance (Deadhead OG x Stardawg) I can only imagine the fire that one brings as well.

I don't know about that. I just harvested one last night and the buds were nice size, easy to trim, very little popcorn. I will have at least 3 oz of prime bud with 56 days of flower. I'll do better next round because I moved up to 15 gallon pots I had been told that it was hard to clone, but I've had no problems. I'm pretty happy with it. It's beautiful bud and it will be gone in a flash. I've got a room full going.

Oh yeah! I know about the long bottom leaf.

My favorite strains have been CH9/ Motarebel stuff.
