I got it at my local hydro store. It wasn't something they typically stock and was sitting around for awhile, so I got it for a great price. It's a Phresh 150cfm. I like how compact it is.
It looks like the one used on a BC Northern Lights grow box, very small. It would be great for a small grow box or tent. Thanks.

Hey! Posted this in the timber thread but figured I'd share here too. This is the 300w kit that I put together. I 3d printed (nerd!) some connectors for the L channel and a little mount for the dimmer. Tried to get the timber wording and tree logo in there as well for bonus points. Dialed down to 100w right now with a lone seedling in a 3x3 tent. 1st(ish) grow, pretty excited.

Not totally DIY, but a nice little Mars Hydro hack, IMHO. Pulls 208w at the wall and should be good enough for keeping plants ticking along and early vegging. Time will tell I suppose.

2nd hand Mars hydro = £60
8 x CLU048's = £64

I already had the rest of the materials required on hand and the conversion took about 3 hours, would've been quicker if I'd had some small self tappers

EDIT...........Its runnin much cooler than when it had all the mono's on it, which I was worried about, but I've defo got a little extra capacity on the drivers. I may add either a smaller cob to each driver, or a small cluster of mono's
Update on this light..................it's way too bright for the headroom and the plants in the nursery are just about surviving after being fried(by photons, not heat, the unit runs real cool). Dropped out 2 of the drivers(4 cobs) and they seem to be doing better. I think this light is moving to the flower room below though, and I'll have to find another option for the nursery.

Still having issues balancing environmental controls with the new set up, but it's getting there and the plants seem to be loving the new light's, 2 weeks since the flip.

View attachment 3429424 Nice lights! I went with some old used cpu coolers and CXA3070s. I used mechanics wire to make the hangers and small chain to hang them. The chain loops over a hook in the ceiling and I connect them on another hook to adjust height.
Dear Parents

Please help your children out building his Grow room that is tucked into the space under the stairs in basement. It may be a bonding experience and he won't burn the F%#&ing house down.

Bassman, thats beautiful!! Whats the size of the tent? And where did you buy the heatsinks from? Thanks!!

Im so torn, im trying to decide between the cxm22s( waiting on the 3000k 90cri from cobkits in feb) and the quantums. But wow that second pic is very nice.

Also, is that a boxer or pit mix lounging in the pic?

Edit: one more question, are you using any lenses or reflectors?

Tent is 24"x48"
Heatsinks from a local mom and pop store in Sacramento and measure 8"x8"x1.1875" tall
Cobs from Cobkits.
Heard good things higher CRI, but have never tried them to have an opinion yet.
The camera had to adapt to the light and so above the light was darker in the pic.
It dosnt look that blinding in person, but there is full light and no dark spots.

Thats Poncho he is an 11 yr old Blue Nose and Amer Bully mix.
I rescued him from a bad home and have had him like 8 or 9 yrs now.
No lenses or reflectors, just bare cobs. I think the reflective walls do a good enough job but everyone has their opinion.
I took the lens money and invested in more cobs instead!
