Thanks, new to all this so still getting used to the lights compared to my 600w hps the girls can't take half of the cob light as hps so think my light is already over kill. Should come good when I switch to photoperiod strains though
I'm new to the light building side of stuff too. I'm finishing up a run under a 600w hps in a cool tube. Only ever run photoperiod myself. Much more control over your room/timescales/size etc. Wanna see how you end up doing with your cob so you earned yourself a follower bro

Same tcl strips as pictured above a few posts. I used 10 total. They are dimmable. I currently have them wired to one outlet but I like the multiswitch box. Brilliantly simple way to save power. The strips are mounted to 2" u channel and are in alternating 3000k 4000k rows. In between each row I placed 3/4" u channel that I am adding 1w far red, 1w photo red, and 3w uva diodes. 10w 10w 70w totals respectively. Post up later on it when they arrive.

What’s the best place to source pin heatsinks if I’m in Canada? Any help would be appreciated :)

That’s a very clean looking setup Rahz, nice.

Ive got a 2 perfect sun 1000 that i have had warranted and the fella who owns the company said i could keep the old for parts.
does any one think i could just replace the PCB board that has the issue with a 50 w COB light and just plug it into the same driver? Just switch them over and cut a new hole? does any one think this would work out in my favour?
