Just a personal thing.
Well the man donated 2 packs of his Monkey Balls (Deep Chunk) to a very good friend of mine who lost the original Tom Hill cuts over some misfortune. Tbis man is working a strain for PTSD and wanted the DC for the structure, stability, and potentcy. Once stabalized and tested he plans to give the seeds away for free to veterans, firefighters, EMS workers who suffer. Hazeman eagerly donated 2 packs for the project. So as a vet, you'll never hear me say anything negative about him

Hazeman’s PTK is Xmas Bud. Still awesome, but it appears as though seeds must’ve gotten mixed up along the way.

Listen to Nspectas episode of the Potcast. They spend a good amount of time talking about the PTK. If I remember correctly a bunch people sent Nspecta what they had as PTK to compare for this project.

Yup. Before Tom Hill dropped off the face of the earth, he told Nspecta that he’d give him all of his remaining PTK stock to do some preservation work with. Unfortunately, Tom Hill disappeared before this happened. So Nspecta asked everyone around that had seeds to send them to him, and in return, he’d send back seeds from a big open pollination.

He’s since run everything he could get his hands on and done at least one open pollination. I don’t know if he ever plans on selling them, but as of now, the only seeds to enter the public were for a charity auction and went for a ton of money.

He’s also done a lot of preservation work with Xmas Bud, so he’s very familiar with that strain as well. When doing his PTK work, he did run Hazeman’s stock. According to him, Hazeman’s stuff is Xmas Bud and not PTK. I think Nspecta even went so far as to determine who Hazeman got the initial seeds from and it was likely a mistake caused by a mislabeling. I know he’s tried to contact Hazeman about it on IG but I don’t know if they ever communicated directly.

And just for the record, Nspecta is one of the most knowledgeable individuals when it comes to older genetics, particularly the NorCal ones. He’s one of the only people to have grown all of the Chemdogs, and was the person who basically verified SkunkVA’s claims when he came back on the scene.

Nspecta and VerdantGreen are reviving the line as we speak. I gave Verdant a pack I received from Benji about 6 years ago but none popped for him. I heard Hazeman's is actually Christmas bud, could just be hearsay though.
Vg and i are working on tom hills ptk x my gorilla bubble. The f1 is done. I will do an open pollination and release the f2s later this year.
Props to leangreen for keeping the original ptk from tom going... Folks know who has the xmas bud versus ptk. God speed tom... Whetever you are. Tom put me on my breeding path and its a real honor to work his gear.

If you have grown gb or her crosses you know whats gonna go down...

Impressive stuff!
What size pot are these in eso? Also I had an unexpected trip take place this weekend so beans are just now hitting towels sorry D:
I believe these are #5 pots so a true 3 gallons. The grape soda cut is very grape stomper leaning and produced very nicely.

No worries on the germing. I had 4/4 on the goji and 4/6 on the blue miyagis x tp but I accidentally crushed the other 2. I only planted 3 of each due to space and all 6 are up above the soil so I'll post pics in a few days. Cheers

Nobody’s saying his stuff is bad. Just that his PTK is really Xmas Bud. If you care at all about preservation of old classics like these two strains, you should want them to be labeled correctly.
