Careful with 707 when raising younger plants. I'm using it as well. It holds water longer than any other medium I've used so far.
thanks for the headsup, been using it for years though. in fact they were bred since F1 in 707 seed to bud
Dry as fuck until next Friday.
well I was going to "like" that but I cant in all good conscience like the fact that your hurtin for bud :/ Ill smoke a bowl for u bro :P

Good to see ya back at it buddy. I started a new thread yesterday. Gunna do a run using the Mephisto SuperSoil mix in both potti g soil and coco. Using Mephisto Skywalker in dirt and Grape Crinkle, Sour Stomper, Auto Blue and Skywalker coco pretty much side by side. Will be planting in the coco today, the Shywalker beans go in the paper towel today, planted probably tue..:joint:

left my girls outside another night, if any are a actually weak enough to die (which I seriously doubt) from 50 degree weather then I dont want there sorry asses anyway and I gotta keep them semi dwarfed anyway because of the pot size, if anyones wondering, I do small pots so I can have higher numbers for selection. they display the same traits when there dwarfed its just in a smaller package.

UPDATE DAY-5: Ive been being a lazy ass piece of shit lately and havent really messed with the gals since I put them in this kennel, watering today and I removed a bunch of seeds shells from the babies. looks like most of the first group have come up now and I need to get on the ball and start bringing them in at night for the supplemental lighting.

There is always a jack ass in the group. Someone always has to be different. BKR currently growing. Main shoot on the left with a funky ass growth that passed up the main. Hey whatever. Lmao. Bud is bud.

I just ordered me one yesterday too. Whoop whoop

:D Welcome to the party Traxx!

Will be going through these gals in the next few days here, making selections, labeling and documenting (pics) and posting updates till harvest of the plants that will give rise to the F8 generation of Pinkie Pie.

went through and individually inspected each plant, made not of size and color then labeled them. Its getting down to the wire and I need to hurry and make a decision on who I want to femenize before my window of oppurtunity passes but they just arent showing me the traits I need to see to select properly yet :/
will have to decide very very soon though so stay tuned! :)

Middle plants
(smallest, shortest,slowest)
[the only veg trait I really select for is Vigor so theres loads of variation among the vegging plants, tightens up near flower]

DAY 37
20161125_081844.jpg 20161125_081856.jpg 20161125_081905.jpg 20161125_081917.jpg

I dont think ive ever really given too much insight into my selection process beyond the goals I aim to achieve. So in order to clarify, what I saw going through these gals today was a nice mix of dark purple, light purple and green plants if color was my only goal I could make some pretty educated decisions at this point but since my main goals for this group are finding individuals that display 1.above average trichome development and coverage 2.superior bud structure 3. purple color I cant really see too much of those qualities yet. Some individuals are flowering much faster and forming buds while others are just putting out a few pistils here and there but no one has started producing true capitate trichomes and only a few have the little pre trichome hairs so far so I have to be patient. the really frosty girls in my lines almost always make themselves known days ahead of the others and continue the high rate of trich production all the way up till chop.

another note on color, since I maintain multiple lines of Pinkie Pie and always use multiple parents per generation to maintain genetic diversity ( I hope to one day in 50ish years or so make Pinkie the U.S's first true landrace auto cannabis cultivar.) I can maintain lines of 1 solid color or another and not have to worry about losing those genes by culling too hard since I know they are maintained in the other lines.
