The Dragon fruit also known as the Pitaya in the Southern Americas as well as Asia is quickly becoming known in the United States...Best served chilled, I like to make melon balls from them. You eat the flesh and seeds inside skin by cutting the fruit in half first. The flavor is mild and refreshing - a cross between a Kiwi and Watermelon.

The dragon fruit tree... (a cactus). i have a few of these in my yard. the fruits are delicious!
Learn how to grow dragon fruit, it's one of the most strange looking subtropical fruit you'd like to grow in your garden. Growing dragon fruit is fairly easy both outdoors or in the pot.

The beastly vines have finally matured and almost every node gave off an odd-ball looking fruit. What a spectacular sight they are and it’s especially fun when friends come over and stumble upon the dragon fruit vines breathing fiery rows of red balls. Look at my succulents and the Dragon flowers .Well sorry I don't have more room / yard for plants .........
