Place 12/12 From Seed Into Veg?

Hey guys and gals, I was wondering if it would be worth while, or even possible to place my flowering 12/12 plant back into veg to grow it bigger, then switch back to flower? It's an unknown hybrid, 2 months since sprout. It started flowering at 3 weeks. It has a good amount of trichs on the leaves and bud sites. It has been grown under a low watt, full spectrum led. Would this be considered a type of "monster cropping," minus the whole cloning aspect? Would my plant just turn hermie and die, or would this be something that could actually work? Thanks for any input.

Possible? Yes but it's also possible to herm it out that way too.. On top of that you'd need to wait for the re-veg transition which isnt that quick.

Personally id just finish it out.
I remember you starting it under 12/12 on purpose though even though i told you it wouldn't get big?

Yeah, I figured it was a huge stress and could herm it. And the only reason why I ask if I could do this is I plan on starting another grow and wanted to see what would happen if I threw it in with the plants that I'll have in veg. I don't really care what I yield off of it.
I already knew that it wouldn't get big. I wasn't looking for it to get big under 12/12 from seed, but I do like to experiment with stuff so I figured why not? Just wanted to see if it would have the same effect as some of these people with legit monster cropped plants, with the whole super bushiness and everything. But, I guess I'll just let it finish then and get that gram of weed lol.

your better off just finishing it and starting fresh with a new grow. re vegging does not always produce a good plant or high yield
I was just wanting to experiment to see if the growth would explode like normal monster cropped plants. Thanks for the advice bro.

next time you try 12/12 maybe you should try a pure indica strain or something normally grown near the equator. I like experimenting too but you need to do your research first

Yeah, I was researching on here by asking questions wether or not I should re veg her, lol. It is crazy to me, however that it stayed so short; probably because of only using a 30w led light on it. I'll try the pure indica next for sure. Thanks

30 watts is not much. led are usually rated for the maximum power the diodes are rated for so the actual power was probably half that amount.I have re vegged plants in the past but had better results growing from seed.it took a few weeks for them to start vegging normally but I did it after harvesting most of the buds.my shipment of seeds was seized by customs and I wanted something in my grow room til I could get more seeds. crazy can be fun. and experimenting keeps this interesting

Yeah, it's a weak Amazon led. My fucking seeds probably got seized too. I've been waiting since the 12th for my white widows from nirvana shop. That's the reason why I'm wanting to fuck around with the little plant right now lol.

never had a problem with nirvana. they use to have really good stealth. I also like ILGM. very good seeds and high germination rate

I guess I'm in the minority, but I think you should experiment with it. If you have the space then what do you have to lose? My whole crop this cycle is from revegged clones. I lost my regular batch, and had to start over at 3-4 weeks of flower. It took forever for them to root and reveg, but they eventually became nice plants in spite of the fact that they also had a 12 bulb fluro fall on them and bake them for about an hour. My latest "experiment" is a tiny 3" Strawberry Amnesia clone. It was the last survivor of it's kind, and I have nursed it faithfully. It has put out 3 nice little branches this week, so I am encouraged. It was a single popcorn bud off it's 4 week flowering mother....I love experiments...<3

Your better off growing autos if you want to get high yields quickly and under any light cycle, they are crossed with ruderalis making them finish in 3months tops, they are just as potent as any other strains... It is okay to reveg then flower again I had a 5FT sativa dominate in flower but had to move her outside so it reveged, but now its back in flower and is 10ft tall plus I got the proper bloom nutrients to feed her so that bitch is really taking off now, that one looks like its been flowering for awhile, personally i would reveg for a better yeild but they are right its a long process, i woukdnt have started in 12/12 anyway though, whatever you choose to do I wish you the best of luck!

I like being in the minority. The few that push boundaries of things when others say that it's a bad idea; that's how cool shit is discovered. You're like the cute little girl from childrens' stories that nurses the hurt bird back to health, only you're the young woman nursing wounded plants back to health, haha. That's awesome how you took a popcorn bud and revitalised it. Ill take your "experiments" into consideration and do something crazy with my little plant too! I love y-! I mean experiments too! :fire: I'll give updates. Thanks for the experience knowledg!

Thanks bro! Yeah, I have some white widow autos on the way from nirvana right now; I can't wait for those bitches! I may try to clone some 2 month old clones off the little thing. Thanks for the info man!

Yeah that would be your best bet, take the clones revegetate and let the other plant finish! Great idea hope it all works out! Ive just taken a clone from the top of my chronic lights that was in a week flower at first she was all slumped over and didn't look so hot but the next day it was sticking straight up and looking niice, anytime dawg glad I could help... White widow is a dopeass strain, its an original, I once had some skunk x widow and it was so fire!

maybe its time to break the stem or harass the rootzone if you are looking for hermie traits!

REGARDLESS of what everyone says, I DO IT ALL THE TIME. This is how I sex my plants... 1 gallon pot 12/12 from seed, the day that show sex I top them and put them back into veg... they stay in the 1 gal pot for 0-4 weeks depending on space in the veg room then they get transplanted into 10 gallon pots until they go into flower. If you want to grow regular seeds, breed your own, avoid fem seeds (more chance of hermie growing from fem seeds than sexing regular and moving back to veg in my opinion/experience!!!) never had issue with plants hermiing because I moved them back to veg. You do want to veg it long enough so that it has time to actually revert back so 10-40 days works for me.

since when autos are just as potent ...:spew::shock: plus auto yields way less... autos are for newbies or outdoor, sorry it's the harsh reality. auto breeders don't want you to know though because they have you buying seeds again and again and again :P
