I am about to begin my first attempt at growing and am trying to find as much info as i possibly can. I live in a very tropical location with year round warm/hot tempand lots of rain between april-oct. After reading a thread by Heath (https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=181239&page=11) i have began to make my plans.
I will try and build a Aqua farm similar to what he has described.
My reservoir will be a 50 gallon tank positioned on an open roof top, the entire roof area will be covered with plastic for rain water collection, the plastic will drip into my reservoir, which will gravity feed my 4 plants below. Each plant will be placed in a 4 gallon plastic tub which will be placed in a 10 gallon outer tub.
my return line will be placed on the outer tub at the same height as the bottom of the inner tub, and then pumped back into my reservoir.
I have allot of available space so i was thinking of hanging 5 vertical bulbs positioned around the four plants, one in the center, and four on each corner.
Any advice appreciated.
