Why is it so hard to believe that I've never had this issue before and don't know how to go about fixing it? I used what I know... yoyos and stakes with clips.... did you know everything at first too? No... you used books, research, and forums for help. I'm here for the same reason you are. In fact I'm merely a lurker 95% of the time and barely post. So no I'm not trolling... was just trying to save my babies. So y'all can chill the hell out.
Calm down ya big goof .....my point was it's a good problem to have ....out of all my plants this year my GG4's are doing exactly what yours are .....a piece of garden wire going from the stake to the branch works fine .....GL

Easy peasy ....pretty much any way to tie it up will work ....tape,twine,pubic hair, socks, used condom, chewed bubble gum, hose off a penis pump, etc etc

The kind of chick that Moves after all the light bulbs burn out!!
You seriously need to get a laid or something. Go do something productive. Pick up a book on learning how to talk to a female. Judging by the way you're speaking to me you're probably an abusive alcoholic and that's why they all leave you.... hence why you're miserable and spreading your misery. It's cool though I'll try to be a little more understanding from here on out

i've been growing the glue for about 3 years now and I feel that using a tomato cage with some bamboo stakes really help keeping the branches from breaking and flopping. I used to only use bamboo stakes, but with the gg, it needs all the support it can get.

I think I've learned this the hard way now! I'm gonna give the tomato cages a go for sure next run. Maybe do some more research on strengthening the stems even more.

yea, if u find out a good way to strengthen the stems and branches, share the knowledge. I dont think using silica did much, for all you know, maybe using silica could be the problem. My only concern with the GG is controlling the stretch. sometimes it doubles in size and sometimes even more. The only thing that helped with the stretch is using metal halide for the 1st 3 weeks of flower, but other then that, with the hps, its always a gamble

Yeah they're very viney, long ass internodes which really leaves you at a disadvantage for when they topple over... I'll do some reading tonight for sure!

You can be a tad less jerky and I'd be more willing to hear wtf you're saying. Kay thanks. This is only my 5th run so please don't talk to me like I should already know everything, there's always room to grow (no pun intended) that's why I'm here... right...

I've never seen anyone use tape around the stakes.

(Oh and it's the 5th run after completely burning the first 2 and losing the whole crop.) I'm still learning.
Really only a 3rd run.

I'm one girl obviously I didn't do the setup myself. I paid a friend to help... he builds setups for many people.
Well, he did a hell of a job with the setup... you should ask him to build you a movable screen, if you're not capable of it yourself. It's pretty easy using PVC pipes, eyehook screws, and twine. Attach some yo-yo hangers and you can adjust it as needed. The screen will not only keep your branches from falling over, but you can also use it to do some low-stress training to increase yields.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but do you mind showing me a picture of exactly what you mean? I googled it and I don’t think what I googled would be appropriate for a marijuana plant... more like something that grows on vines. Thank you! Much appreciated :)

This is what I’m working with now, clipping up literally every single branch as it falls. The top nugs look fkn incredible and sooo sticky, but bottom ones are just falling over. I’m not too worried now since I’m about to cut down, but if I plan to keep growing GG4, I need a game changer....
