My time line and start is about the same as you.. I noticed today the trichs are out and showing..I'm hoping to get 2 more months in..the longer you go, the happier you'll be... no use in waiting all spring & summer only to shoot yourself in the foot in the fall... I've waited into Dec.. You have to watch your trichs... for me I'd guess
mid Oct.... happy harvest dude/dudette

harvest the plant when the trichomes turn amber, after this point plant glowth and THC production STOPS, if left in the ground buds mold and THC degrades. its like an apple, (seriously, and in all sences its like an apple) in the begining there is a flower, the pollen recepters (pistils) slowly elongate and a protective layer of nutrient develops around the pollen recepters, if there is pollen, they develop seeds, if not a more potent nutrient layer....the protective layer of the apple turns red, or yellow when ripe (green apples are sweetened unripe apples), the protective layer turns amber on the budz with marijuana.

shit one more "?" my plant is getting pretty tall.and i dont want it to reach higher then my fenceline. i heard u can tie the branches so that they would grow side ways... should i start doing that if so how would i go about doing that, and will it effect the plant in a negitive way...

I would suggest tying it down as that's what I've been doing, but only after a good watering!...you need the stem/stalk to be flexible enough to handle the bending. The point of LST (Low Stress Training, tying down, bending) is to expose more budsites to good sunlight - and keep the height under control - so that's what you should be aiming to do.

I have had nothing but positive results from doing this. I was just a bit worried about the main stalk cracking (because mine was "too mature" than what is ideal), but as long as you do this a few hours after a good watering/rain, you'll be fine.

Best of luck, and pics if you can!

add molasses to the water.....it will make the buds bigger, and its just a natural sugar so it won't shock or damage it at all. just about 1 tsp/gallon. and LST'ing it to create stronger stems + more buds
