Plants dieing!? please help *pics*

so yesterday i took these pics and they have seemed to only get worse, , this as only happened since i changed my lights from some 40w florencents to the new t5 lightwave (216w) 4 bulbs. at the moment i have them 3-6 inches away with a fan in the room keeping the tempature down (74 - 78).

sorry im a newbie i just dunno what to do any there getting worse.

im getting a few yellow spots on the first plant (far left) and the ones closest to us, the leaves are drying out and drooping more everyday, they feel very rigid and does not feel like there is any water in the leaves. am i not watering enough?

any help appreciated.

Ok they look ok.

I would get the lights as close as possible to stop the streching.

Put your hand under the light and if it feels too hot then it is too hot for the plants. That is how you judge light distance from the plant.

If you dont have a fan then get one to blow on the plants to develop stem strength.

Also what type of soil are you using very important

im using canna terra profesional. thanks for the input, was getting worried, its just a week ago the leaves felt alot more moist and now there completly dry, i thought because im using flourencents and a fan heat wouldnt be a issue, il have to wait a few more days and post some more pics.
