i was going to sex all 5 plants and then clone the females.....they are about 20 days from seed. i was using flora nova grow at 150 ppm. ph was 5.8. in 2 days my roots went from good to bad, as you can see in pics. i cleaned and added h202 to new water and they seem the same. the bucket has been used before, so light leaks are not a option....res temp is 69, room temp is 77 rh is 38. dot know what to do:wall: firt 2 pics are from 4 days ago, last 2 are from yesterday. btw they are just under 2 cfl's inches away from tops....

wish I could help but IDK. Is it possible that you need more bubbles? Also arent you supposed to use flora grow and flora micro?

I think your water level is too HIGH! Plants can suffocate in DWC too. Algae problem in there too. Wash the bucket with bleach water mix and get a new airstone and tubing just to be safe. IDK anything about those nutes.

i have a 10" bubble wand in there. its putting out lots of bubbles. i thought that might have been it too. i have used just the grow before with no probs

* are you using the Flora series (3-part) or the flora nova-2 part system? there seems to be some confusion about that.

it seems like you have some loss of nitrogen, and some crisping to the leaves. I believe the floraNova Grow contains about all the NPK you need throught the veg cycle, and some micro nutrients as well. the Bloom formula obviously does its intended job as well. I'm going to assume you gave the bottle a good shaking before pouring? lack of doing so could cause only some nutrients to pour out, and in strong concentration.

from the loks of the roots:
-bad microbial activity
-Unlcleaned bucket (from the last time you used it)
-Uneven air distribution/not enough air.

and there is the possibility of not having enough light...how do you feel about that? i don't have too much info available, so please go more into detail, and I will gladly assist 'ya

Looks like root rot to me, and you will have hard time try to clean them up. Get some water sterilising agent , I use Pythoff and seems to work well for me, there are many products design to keep your nuts clean. Use a solid black airline in the tank, the clear fish tank airline passes lights.

I went with all black tubing as well after I lost a lovely fat female to root rot. I had it growing a couple new roots after severely shocking it with root cuttings and peroxide but then it just died.
