Plantskydd - the outdoor growers best friend?

I personally have not grown outdoors, but am aware of the problems that are caused by deer & rabbits.
I stumbled across this product that looks very promising. I personally wouldn't spray it directly on the MJ plant, but instead give a good coat to the surrounding vegetation.

Anybody already using this?

Just read through the link, it says its main active ingredient is bloodmeal and its mixed with vegetable oil to make it stick and last longer. I imagine you could make your own very easily, or try some other tricks soap, moth balls, urine, human hair etc...

The only way to garuntee that nothing is gonna eat your plants is by putting some sort of wire cages around them. Its actually cheaper in the long run too they last forever, you can re-use them every year, 50 ft roll cost me 25 bucks last year. I don't have to buy chit this year!!!

One thing tho when using chicken/hex wire is that you have to put some tubing on about the first foot of the stalk so rodents cant chew through the stalk if they get in the cages, or throw down some mouse traps inside the cage.

trust me on this the only way to prevent animals/rodents from fuckin with your plants is by taking away there ability to get to your plants, I've tried all the old wives tales hair, piss, bloodmeal etc... and still had plats getting eaten. if its not dear its mice, if its not mice its chipmunks, beavers, groundhogs, rabbits and god knows what else they will all eventually get used to the smell of whatever you put around and over time they'll get the balls to go in for the kill!
