I am going for a bit larger outdoor grow this year. I was wondering if any one knows about how long i should start my plants indoor before taking them outside.

The almanac i should plan around may 15th where i live.

im using strains that get done around late september, early october.

i want my plant big and strong this year.

so about how long before my plant date should i start germinating?

Well thats kind of a tough question, because its really up to the grower, it depends on how big they want the plant first before they bring it outside. Just remember the bigger it is when it goes outside, the more of a chance it has of surviving. If you really want to, you could start growing your plants now and put them outside when the time comes. It is possible to veg your plant for at least a year inside and it still wont bud as long as the lighting is 18/6. The only thing that makes it bud in the wild is when the days get shorter, light goes down to 12/12 telling the plant its going to die so it starts to produce. hope that helps :bigjoint:
