Playing with time in flower phase

Noob here

I was wondering if anyone has played with time in flower phase once the plants are in full force flower to get better yields.

What i mean is once the 12/12 cycle is in place and plants are a few weeks in has anyone added time to the light cycle (like 13/11 or ever 14/10) to either bring the plants to cut down earlier or to create better yields.

Idk if the 12/12 is needed for just trigger or if 12/12 is needed throughout the flower phase.

Thank you for any input!

they'll flower with differing schedules but with longer than 12 hours light you'll get more veg growth. While it may appear as more yields its not, just more vegetable matter. any new budding sites resulting are often not given enough time to finish like the ones visible during the vegetative cycle.
just dont do it man, stick with 18-24/7 for veg cycles and
12/12 for indoor flowering for best results. If there were tricks like this
to get better bigger faster bud we'd all be doing it right;)

I just had the idea due to a clone i left in the 12/12 light cycle. It started to flower and now im having a really hard time getting it back to veg even with leaving it in 24 hour light.

Thank you for the reply, i just thought i would ask :)

The quickest way is to give the plant 24hrs or at minimum 18 hrs of light. Clones are full of the flowering hormone and takes some time to revert back to veg.
