Ok, so I am a first time Hydro grower, Now the thing is, i'm not actually growing Marijuana but rather Tomato plants, but I've been told the best Hydro experts are in this forum, so I came here to ask these questions
Ok, I have a 15 Gallon clear tote "That I will be spray painting black." I am growing 3 tomato plants right now as a test run "Don't have any bigger containers atm." First, I am not using net pots I am using regular planters as I'm using Perilite and Peat Moss for my medium "Told it works best for vegetables." It has 9 holes in the bottom and I am using a 30 gallon tank air pump. My problem I'm having is air pockets are forming at all the holes on the bottom, and if I stink my finger threw the medium, only the very very bottom that is in the water is wet, the water isn't absorbing up into the medium. Is there anything I can do to prevent the air pockets, or are they even going to be a negative factor ?
