:confused::-?I think it might just be burning, but i have it under 2 23watt 6500k cfls. and i constantly have a fan blowing pretty hard, hard enough to constantly be moving the plants around, and the lights are about 3-4 inches above the plants.. i don't really see how it could be buring, cuz its not hot at all, and ventilation is perfect. also, the new growth (the new nodes that're growing) aren't buring at all, i figured the new leafs growing in would at least be burned at the tips cuz they r so tender and new, but they look fine. i have two of these growing in 5 gallon buckets with miracle grow organic soil. no other nutes added, i wanted a soil that was very low in nutes so i could add them myself when they get a lil bigger. what the hell is wrong? please.. plus rep a thousand times if u can solve my problem lol.. need the help, thank u RIU!!!!!!!!!!

well looks like you might have a ph problem. thats where i would start. it also kinda looks like an mg problem so its hard to tell. you can always flush and wait a month and add different nutes. most people dont recommend miracle grow

No, this is definitly not a mag def. It's nute lock out due to a pH problem. Check your soil's pH and make sure it's in the proper range.

Home depot n just pick up that Lil strip or probe tester? I haven't ever watered them, they are about 2 weeks old, n the soil is still quite moist. I was gonna wait until it dried out before putting any water in, i don't want to flush so early. So the ph of the soil, straight from the bag w/o being watered is too high? How is that? And it's miracle grow organic. Not reg miracle grow potting soil. There are barely any nutes to begin with. Any more advice?

Go to any store with a garden department and buy one of those green pH+moisture+light meters, they're easy to find, they have 2 rods, one copper, one zinc, that you stick into the soil.

This way you'll know at least if you're in the proper range.

Do you actually believe that these guys test their soil's pH before selling it?! That would mean that there would be no more threads or posts regarding pH problems, and at least a half of those growers have miracle grow or fox farm soil.

Before they sell soil, they check the pH once, then load up hundreds of bags before checking it again, you may just have had a bit of bad luck, happens soooo many times.
