PLS HElP!!!

So my plant has been doing good until today. It's outdoors almost (2 weeks from being done) done flowering. I seen it today and the stem by the top cola was brown, and the hairs on this bud turned red. This happened like overnight and when I touched cola nug to investigate, it broke off. Is this a bug problem? If so, what type, there seem to be black spots on stem? .....also, is it possible to just snip the cola nug off at the stem where it doesn't seem to have been infected, or will this put to much stress on the rest of the plant? yup, powdery mildew/bud rot. cut it out or harvest.

Ok thanks. Harvest the whole plant? The rest of the hairs (around 70%) are still white. Can I harvest like this? And if I choose to cut off, just do so at the main stem? What would you do, harvest or cut?...sorry if dumb questions, I'm a newb.

I thought you said you were 2 weeks out. Do you have other plants around that one? It spreads very quickly.

I think I am at least. I may have maybe less % white hairs then what I said. But it's been 6 weeks and this strain supposedly 9 weeks.? Should I just cut the top stem then?

No, this is the only one.

If it is only 2 weeks out, Id cut out the infection and harvest what I could. I know it sucks but it's part of the game. Sorry it went south on you. It's happened to me twice before.

it's like a plague, spreads quickly. longer you wait, the more contamination you'll have.

Chop it and make hash if u can see on outside its deff gonna be on the inside of the buds

Boooo....smoking mold is bad Hit it with some Green Cure...kills botrytis in its tracks and stops the plague

I harvested, and threw out anything that looked even remotely suspicious.

im thinking more aphid damage but could be mildew
